Skirted One-Piece Swimsuit is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great suit but read before buying. I bought the red one last year, I see people saying it runs small but if you've shopped at torrid you should probably know by now that bathing suits and cardigans and certain jackets (if they go by 1,2,3,4 like everything else) that you should size up. I'm usually a size 1-2 but for my bathing suit and my cardigan I got a size 4. And I am super pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this swimsuit! I have been wearing skirted tankinis for years. This is my first one piece in years. I bought it in red and black. It is very flattering with the just right amount of coverage for my "problem" areas!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it!! I usually wear a zero in shirts but with this I bought a 2 because I read the reviews before me. The fit is perfect and compliments my body well. I'm soo in love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This swimsuit it HOT! I loved this swimsuit the moment I tried it on. I'm glad I read the other reviews before ordering - I am a size 18 with more emphasis in the hip/backside area and I ordered a 3. Fits perfectly! The skirt in the rear does come up a bit but I think that's what makes it sexy. I haven't worn it in the water yet but everything felt snug and secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Fit I just bought this bathing suit and I love it. It is typically very hard for me to find a bathing suit that I like. Torrid is my new favorite store. I want to buy everything in there!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great suit for smaller busted women! Finally a suit that isn't too big in the bust! Typically, I fit between a size 2 and a 3 when it comes to regular tops at Torrid and a size 20 in jeans. The 3 in this swimsuit fits me perfectly. I usually wear a 42B size bra and was delighted to find a swimsuit that wasn't huge in the bust. There is still room in the cups, but it's not noticeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super cute suit!! I bought this instore. Like others have said you need to size up , a lot. I wear a solid 1 and I had to buy a 3. But once I got the right fit I saw how lovely this is. The material is thick, no worrying about seeing through this. The cut is so cute, definately a quality piece.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not perfect, but I like it! After reading every review posted about this swimsuit, I decided to order a 2 instead of my usual size of 1. I wish I would have gone with the 1 because I like my swimwear a bit tight, but that isn't a deal breaker. Moving on, here are the things I like about this swimsuit: first, the ruching down the sides is great for hiding imperfections, especially when coupled with the color black. The suit material is fantastic and the whole thing is very well made. The cups, while a bit small for me, are lightly padded, great quality, and do a decent job of holding the girls in and up, especially with the straps adjusted correctly and crossed in the back. The things I'm not so crazy about: My biggest issue with this swimsuit are the straps. The first time I put it on, I knew they weren't going to work. I'm not a fan of detachable straps and these things were popping off left and right. However, they're adjustable (like bra straps) and good quality, so I found a way to sew them so they don't come undone, but I can still adjust them if needed. The skirt is too long in the front and not long enough in the back, so I find myself pulling the front up and trying to pull the back down. I also agree with other reviews about the torso being short. I'm not very tall, 5'5", and find that the sides of this suit ride up often and I have to readjust. This review might come off more negative than positive, but honestly the flaws of this suit don't matter all that much after I put it on because I actually feel good in it and that's really all that counts to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better as a seperate!! Loved this the second I saw it and with discounts, I got it for almost $40!! After reading the reviews I decided to go up a sizes. The swimsuit is definitely snug in the midsection. I usually wear a 3 in Torrid's swimwear, still have last years that fits. Another problem, that other buyers seem to have as well, is the torso seems to be incredible short. My midsection is short to begin with and I had trouble with this, it was uncomfortable and pulled in all the wrong places. I decided to cut the bottom out of the suit, which fixed the short torso problem entirely, and wear my bottoms from last years suit with it. It looks just as cute and I can mix and match it now!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for the donkey booties I was SOOOO excited when I found this on sale. Someone had returned it without the straps, but I was able to fit it. It was indeed a little difficult to step into the first 2 or 3 times, but once you get passed that it's a cute bathing suit. My rear end is little chunkier than the rest of my body, so I had problems keeping the back down and I just wore a cover up so it wouldn't look silly. I'm sure I could have just gone up a size, but I'm cheap, so it was half off when I bought it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great, in theory This is my very first purchase from Torrid ever. I was super excited when I purchased it, and when it finally arrived I became nervous. I have a long torso and wide hips and thighs with a smaller bust. I would typically order 2 but after reading the reviews I went with a 4 simply because they were out of 3. The bust was entirely too big so I will have to send it back for a refund. This suit is so and I really want it in a smaller size, but it doesn't look like they are getting anymore more in. Torrid did pay for my return label because of the connecting piece that holds the skirt down is torn on one side, so I am happy with that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from looks super cute just not on me :( I just received this item in the mail and was so excited to try it on. And let me tell you it took forever just to get it passed my butt.. But I eventually did finish getting it on I noticed that the skirt wouldn't stay down. I'm regularly a 3 and got it in a 4 I don't know if I should return it and get a five or just get a whole new swimsuit. Oh decisions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems to run small I bought this in a 2 and it just barely fit over me. I fit into a two in pretty much everything else that they sell in that size. Now granted I am on the larger end of that size however this barely fit over my chest and was a strain to step in to. Its a cute suit but id buy it in a size up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute but not for me I thought this was so cute when I saw it online and on the model. I received it yesterday and it looks awful on me :( the ruching is all wrong and the skirt part doesn't lay flat. Sad to say this one is going back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from looks soo cute I ordered this because its soo cute and looks like it would cover a mutlitude of sins....I struggled with a size 5 to even get into it! its like made of iron....anyhow I was so uncomfortable in it I don't think I could feel relaxed wearing it. This definitely for the younger body who hasn't had 3 kids and still has a pronounced waistline! That being said...I think it runs smaller than the sizing indicates. Had to return.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short in the torso I bought this online about a month ago. Tried it on and it didn't fit at all. It was way too short in the torso and I'm not a tall girl (5'5). I also felt like it was way too much fabric for a bathing suit. I don't want to feel like I'm wearing winter gear when im at the beach :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality concerns I took a flyer and ordered this online. I liked it just enough to skip the hassle of mailing it back, but it was a close call. Pros: The suit is legitimately adorable; the material is nice and thick, and the briefs under the skirt don't ride up at all Cons: I'm on the smaller end of a 2 in most of Torrid's clothes, and the suit was a struggle to get on - I recommend sizing up. If you carry your weight in the hips/rear, the suit will likely bunch up weird in the back. Dealbreaker: The removable straps have plastic fasteners to attract them to the suit, not metal. Combined with the suit's snug fit, I'm afraid the fastener will break the first time I try to raise my arms. This alone would have kept me from buying the suit in-store, and I won't be wearing it until I rig up some more durable straps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Get bigger size! I wear 14 so I decided on a size 1. I couldn't even get the suit over my hips to pull it up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from $$$$ should = quality I have owned at least 6 torrid suits. I teach swim lessons and I am wear them all week long. I have two suits from 3 years ago that I can still wear today. The straps in this suit broke after 9 wears. I expect more out of torrid. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for long torsos I bought this suit a size up(3) based on the previous reviews. I'm a 40DD and it was baggy in the chest/waist area. The suit wasn't long enough for my torso, I'm 5'9". If I pulled it up so the line under the chest was actually under my chest the bottom of my stomach was exposed under the skirt. If I pulled the suit down to cover the bottom of my stomach the top of the suit pulled my chest down, made it look flat and saggy. There really isn't much chest support, the straps help but there isn't anything in the front to support you from under. The under-suit bottom is also very high cut and there isn't much tummy control, I don't think exchanging it for a smaller size would work in this case. I had high expectations for this but will sadly be returning it.
