1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Torrid Bride – Bridal Gown Giveaway Contest (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding U.S. territories and possessions) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, directors, affiliates or agents of Hot Topic, Inc. ("Sponsor"), their immediate family and/or those living in the same household are ineligible. Participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decision, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

2. TIMING: The Sweepstakes begins on 5/9/2008 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time ("PST") and ends on 6/20/2008 at 11:59 p.m. PST (the "Promotion Period").

3. HOW TO ENTER: Enter online at Torrid.com, where you may be asked to provide your first and last name, mailing address, age, E-mail address and telephone number(s). Collection of personal information will be in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy as posted on Torrid.com. Once you complete and submit the registration form, you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Promotion Period. Once submitted, all entries become the sole property of Sponsor. Proof of entry submission does not equate to timely receipt. Entries that are illegible or incomplete will not be accepted. Online entrants must be the authorized account holder of the entry E-mail account. If disputed, entry will be deemed submitted by the IP address owner, who is deemed to be the natural person assigned the E-mail address by the Internet-access provider. Any attempts to access the site via bot script or other brute-force attack will result in that IP address becoming ineligible.

4. DRAWING: The Sweepstakes Winner ("Winner") will be selected by Sponsor, whose decisions are final, on or about 6/20/08 in a random drawing from among all eligible entries submitted and received. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Winner shall be notified by Sponsor (Sponsor reserves the right to determine method of notification). If Winner fails to respond timely pursuant to such notification, an alternate winner will be drawn from the pool of remaining eligible entries. Winner will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Prize acceptance constitutes permission to use and publish Winner's name, likeness and biographical information in any and all known media for publicity purposes solely in connection with the Sweepstakes, all without additional compensation, notification, review or approval (except where prohibited by law).

5. PRIZE: Sweepstakes prize consists solely of: One (1) bridal gown of your choice out of five (5) bridal gowns selected by Sponsor, or if Winner has already purchased a bridal gown, Winner will receive a Torrid Gift Card for the same retail price of the bridal gown purchased (not including any sales tax Winner may have paid in connection with such purchase) up to a maximum of $220.00 (Approximate Retail Value of Prize: $140.00 - $220.00). Winner is responsible for any and all taxes that may become payable by Winner based on approximate retail value of prize. Any and all expenses and/or terms not specifically described herein as part of the prize are Winner’s sole responsibility. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash (other than the Torrid Gift Card, which may be transferable).

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its directors, employees, agents, affiliates and/or representatives from and against any and all liability, damages or claims associated with or in any way arising from, in whole or in part, your participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, and/or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including without limitation, property damage, personal injury or death. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering of, the Web site, or any technical failure or malfunction. Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants' or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or the downloading of Sweepstakes-related material (including, but not limited to, server failure, computer virus infection or other malfunction). If, for reasons beyond the control of Sponsor, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes, without notice or liability. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Official Rules or who attempts to disrupt the operation of, defraud or in way tamper with the Sweepstakes or the Torrid.com Web site, and to prosecute to the full extent of the law. THE CALIFORNIA COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION AND SHALL GOVERN THE SWEEPSTAKES (EXCLUDING CONFLICT OF LAWS PROVISIONS). VOID WHERE RESTRICTED OR PROHIBITED BY LAW.
