Q. What benefits does the Torrid Insider Credit Card offer?

Q. Do I have to sign up for Torrid Insider before I can apply for a Torrid Insider Credit Card?
A. Yes, you must sign up for the Torrid Insider program first before you can apply for a Torrid Insider Credit Card. But note that the Torrid Insider program is free for everyone to join!

Q. How do I apply for a Torrid Insider Credit Card?
A. Complete an application at any Torrid store or submit an application online by clicking here.
Please note: For security reasons, applications CANNOT be processed over the phone.

Q. How do I know my application has been approved?
A. If you are approved instantly, you will receive your credit card number and be able to shop at any Torrid store and at Torrid.com right away.
If you receive a message that your application is under review, you will be notified by Comenity Bank about the status of your application by mail in 7-10 business days.
You will receive your card in the mail within 7-10 business days after your application is approved.

Q. When will I get my card?
A. Your card should arrive by mail within 7-10 business days after your application is approved.

Q. I was told my application status is under review. What does this mean?
A. Don't worry! Comenity Bank just needs a little more time to look over your application and will notify you by mail about its status within 7-10 business days.
For security reasons, Comenity Bank will not be able to tell you the status of your application over the phone. However, they can help you if you have not received the notice by mail. Contact Comenity Bank, directly at 1-800-853-2921 (TDD/TTY 1-800-695-1788), Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST.
Please note: Torrid is not involved in the approval of your application.

Q. Can I use my Torrid Insider Credit Card in stores and online?
A. Absolutely!
Torrid Personal Shopper can help you shop over the phone Monday - Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., PST, at 1.877.867.7432. International customers: please call +1.626.709.1188.

Q. Can I apply for a Torrid Insider Credit Card if I don't have a permanent U.S. address?
A. Unfortunately, to receive a Torrid Insider Credit Card, you must have a permanent, physical address within the United States and a Social Security Number. If you have a permanent U.S. address, you can also use your SIN (Canada) to apply.
Please note: A P.O. Box number is NOT considered a permanent, physical address and will not be accepted in the application process.

Q. Why do I need to enter my Social Security Number or Social Insurance Number to apply?
A.  The USA PATRIOT Act requires credit card applicants to provide their Social Security Number or Social Insurance Number for identification purposes.

Q. Can I shop in a Torrid store if my application has been approved and I have my credit card number, but I haven't received the card itself?
A. Yes! Just take your approval printout with your Torrid Insider Credit Card number on it, along with a photo ID, to any Torrid store.

Q. I haven't received my card yet and I don't have my new card number. Can I still shop?
A. You're in luck! Take your photo ID to any Torrid store and an associate can give you the number so you can shop! 
Please note: For security reasons, Torrid Customer Service Representatives CANNOT give you your number online or over the phone because you must show your photo ID.

Q. I don't see my 15% discount for my first purchase using the Torrid Insider Credit Card. What should I do?
A. If you don't see your discount code in your shopping cart, double-check the discount code and re-enter it. Remember: you need to use this discount code within 48 hours of receiving approval.
If it has been more than 48 hours since you received your discount code, or your discount code information is lost, please call a Torrid Customer Service Representative, Monday - Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., PST, at 1.877.867.7432. Q. Can I split payment between various payment methods and still receive my 15% discount on my first purchase?
A. Sorry, no. This special discount can only be applied to your first purchase with your Torrid Insider Credit Card. No other payment method can be used.

Q. Can I split payment on my order between my Torrid Insider Credit Card and another payment card after my first purchase?
A. When shopping online, you can only use one payment card at a time. However, you can split payment between any payment card and Torrid Gift Cards.
When shopping over the phone, a Torrid Personal Shopper can divide the payment on your order between multiple credit cards and Torrid Gift Cards. Just call 1.866.867.7432, Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., PST. International customers: please call +1.626.709.1188.

Q. How do I make changes to my account?

Q. Is there a paperless billing option?
A. Yes. It's a simple and easy way to help the environment. You can set up paperless billing by logging in to your Torrid Insider Credit Card account or calling Comenity Bank at 1.800.853.2921 (TDD/TTY 1-800-695-1788), Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST.

Q.  Is there a fee to make online payments?
A.  Nope! In fact, the fastest and easiest way to make your payments is by going online. Just log into your Torrid Insider Credit Card account and select the "Pay online" option.

Q.  Can you send me an email reminder of when my payment is due?
A.  When you sign up for paperless billing, you'll automatically receive emails regarding your account - including payment reminders. Go green and sign up for paperless billing on your Torrid Insider Credit Card account today.

Q.  Can I set up my account to have automatic payments made each month?
A. Yes, but you will need to set up automatic payments through your bank or through an electronic payment vendor.

Q. Can I make payments at a Torrid store?
A. We're sorry, but no. You cannot make payments at a Torrid store, but paying online is fast and easy! Log in to your Torrid Insider Credit Card account now.

Q. How do I increase my credit limit?
A. Log in to your Torrid Insider Credit Card account, or call Comenity Bank at 1.800.853.2921 (TDD/TTY 1-800-695-1788), Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST.

Q.  What is an "authorized buyer"?
A.  Authorized buyers are people you allow to make purchases on your account, but they are not responsible for your account. You, as the primary account holder, will be responsible for payment on all purchases on this account, so please be careful when choosing authorized buyers.

Q. How do I set up authorized buyers for my account?
A. It's easy! Log in to your Torrid Insider Credit Card account or contact Comenity Bank by phone at 1.800.853.2921 (TDD/TTY 1-800-695-1788), Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST.

Q. Why does my account say the charges for my order are "pending?"
A.  Don't worry. You were not charged twice for your order. Your account will read "pending" or "pending authorization" for the amount of your purchase, but that notation will be removed once your order ships. Please be sure to subtract the amount of your order from your available balance so you don't make charges over your balance.

Q.  What if I need to make changes to my Torrid Insider Credit Card order?
A.   Call Torrid Customer Service immediately at 1.866.867.7432. International customers: please call +1.626.709.1188. As long as the order isn't too far along in processing, we should be able to modify it for you so it isn't further delayed.
