Staple jeans
The mid rise boyfriend jean is my jean staple. I am pear shaped and don't prefer skin tight skinny jeans. The boyfriend jean is slouchy and leaves lots of room for my booty and hips but is perfect in the waist. The length is good for me at 5'6" though sometimes I'll recuff them after washing to get them a smidge shorter. I have like 4 pairs of these boyfriend jeans in different washes - that's how great they are.

Great jeans!
I really love the fit of these jeans! I'm not ready to go for wide leg yet, so this is a nice transition from skinny jeans. I am a size 16 or 18, apple-shape. I got a 16 in these as the 18 was too big. They do stretch out a bit with wearing. If you want them to be tight, I would say size down. They are very comfortable and I think look really good. I like the wider leg style with shorter tops (though I'm still not on board with crop tops for myself), and skinnier leg with longer tops. I'm 5'6" with not particularly long legs and got the regular length, which is fine. Looks super cute cuffed or not.

This fit perfectly. I wear a 10 and these are my new go to favorite jean. These jeans have pockets. I don't mean the little tiny I can't even fit my hand in pocket. These are REAL POCKETS!!
