Great shorties
These shorts actually are short, but a good short! I love the feel and the stretch they have. The material is comfortable and so far does not ride up as I walk. But my body is apple shape, so legs are not usually the issue. the issue is always tummy, and will it fit type of feel. I am pleased to report that the fit is perfect around my waist. I got my usual size and it is spot on. If you do like shorts to fit like shorts, then these are the shorts for you!!

I hate the jean shorts from torrid because the stretch emphasizes my fupa. The linen and nonstretch shorts are the absolute best though, and these are fantastic. So comfortable, easy, and flattering. Love!

These shorts are simply amazing! Lite weight, soft comfortable, the fit is perfect! I wear a 2 but ordered a 3 simply because, in my experience, black clothing items run smaller/tighter. However these did not. Suggest ordering in your regular size. Love Love Love!

I really do enjoy these shorts. I got them in all three of the colors they have to offer. I did originally go with size 00 as that is the size I got in the same style pants, but they were much tighter. So I exchanged for a 0 and like them much better. I do wish they were maybe an inch longer as sometimes they like to ride up in the inner thigh area. But overall they are my favorite right now, because they are very comfy and look nice with lots of things.

Weird waistband
These would be perfect if the waistband didn't feel twisted when you put them on. My poplin pants are the same and it's the only thing that could be better. Feels like the rubber inside isn't straight ever. Fit is spot on though

I wish Torrid would make more shorts like this - cute and put together shorts but still comfy and cool for the summer. The material is light so they're not hot but they're not athletic or slouchy bump around shorts. My only complaint is the seem around the thigh doesn't have stretch so I could feel it when I sat down and my thighs spread out. It was the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Great color but for me that is where this review stops being positive. Cut is really not great. Fabric curls up. Wish the elastic wasteband was sewn into the fabric. Was bummed to see no rear pockets.
