I bought these shorts for a trip coming up, even after some of the “negative” comments, but when I got mine they looked FABULOUS! The color was not “faded” looking at all! Granted, based on reviews, I did size up and they fit perfectly! Love these!

LOVE. Be Aware of Color!
I am obsessed with these. They’re comfortable, flattering, and run true to size. My only note to potential buyers is that my pair was not the same color as the model’s. Mine are less vibrant, but I didn’t take away any stars because I definitely don’t like the piece less because of the color discrepancy. I actually think I may wear them more because they’re more of a muted rust. I tried to photograph them against a black background to show the color, but they even look too bright against it.

I'm a sucker for anything leopard, and these are no exception. You cannot go wrong with Torrid denim, and I love that they're making more unique pairs with fun colors, distressing, and prints. I would 100% buy these shorts in other colors. Neons would be so cute with the leopard!

Better than expected
I am a solid 1 (size 16) in Torrid clothing. However, I carry my weight in my stomach and I have thinner thighs and legs. After reading all of the other reviews I decided to order a size up. (18) They fit in the waist and they are a little flared around the legs, but I love the patterns so much I’m willing to deal with that. They are more muted than the models but I actually prefer that. If you are smaller waisted and carry your weight in you thigh/hip/bottom area these are the shorts for you!

SIZE UP!
I’m glad I read the reviews before ordering these and sized UP. I normally wear a 20 in Torrid bottoms, but based on reviews I ordered a 20 and a 22 just in case and the 22 is a much better fit in the waist and butt. (I ordered two other styles of shorts in a size 20 on the same order and those fit fine, it’s just this style!)
I also wish they were a tad bit longer because I don’t really care for the frayed edge and would rather roll them hems, but if I roll them more than once they’re too short.

I was nervous to buy these based on the comments about the weird cut--being tight on the waist and loose in the thighs. I think if you have thicker thighs, the cut should be ok. I normally wear a size 20 to be comfortable, but I have since learned that, for these almost 100% cotton bottoms, I have to size up. So I got these in a 22, and they fit like a traditional Torrid 22. They are loose enough for me to sit down and move, etc. I don't really like how my stomach kind of sits in them, but if I wear it with a sheer shirt, it will kind of hide the stomach hug but still allow the pattern to be seen. They might have been a little better if they were higher waisted, idk might be my preference, but overall I like them and am glad I purchased :)

SIZE UP
I bought these online over a month ago. I ordered a 12 because that's what I normally wear in all other shorts. They do not fit. not sure if my pair were mislabelled as a 12 incorrectly....they won't go over my thighs. They also have NO stretch imo, otherwise I'd be able to get them on. I am tempted to hold onto them since I am losing weight....but sad I will have to wait to wear them.
Other than fit, I LOVE the print.

Ok so these are a fun pattern, a nice length and good quality but they are tight in the waist. I have a high smaller waist, so I was surprised these were so snug around my waist. I think sizing up would make them too big in the hips. Not sure if I’m keeping them or not!

Runs small. I love these and the fit is off. Bought my usual torrid size and these are uncomfortable on. I have big legs and they are tight on my thighs and waist. Disappointed in the fit.

I love the pattern of these, and the description called them, high-rise, so I was very excited! However, these are mid rise at best. I like the high rise, because they come up high enough to prevent muffin top. Unfortunately, these sit very low, and are very unflattering on me. Which is too bad because they’re really cute. All of my other torrid shorts are 22 and fit fine so I don’t believe sizing up would’ve helped, totally disappointed, but had to return

Really strange fit. Granted i typically wear a 16 in torrid jeans, but these shorts were tiny in the waist (2 sizes too small) but fit everywhere else.
