Fit Perfectly!
These are the most comfortable pair of shorts I own. They are super soft and stretchy. They stay rolled up. They don’t ride up. I have a smaller waist and big hips and the waist fits great. There is no gap in the back. I would definitely buy these again.

I love the mid rise vintage shorts. The smokestack color is really pretty and goes with so many tops. These are stretchy. I usually wear a 14 and that’s what I ordered. They fit but I could have sized down for a more fitted look but I’m keeping the 14. They are a little roomy and stretch out some throughout the day as you wear them.

I absolutely love them , so comfy, the color is beautiful and so flattering I have a hard time getting shorts because instead of flattering they always seem to showcase my belly but these are perfect I'm between size 14 & 16 I ordered 16 but a 14 would've been just fine

New to shorts but happy
Because I appreciate reviews with measurements and pictures, I'm leaving my measurements here (no pictures yet). 5'2", 38/40H, compact hourglass, short torso, and new to shorts. I bought a size up. I am normally solid in a 12, and go between 0, 00, occasional 10 at Torrid, depending on the material. These felt stiff straight out of the bag, which was fine. So I got a 14 and I was immediately glad for the waist that I had done so. Normally I do wear high waisted bottoms, so I think going up a size was right for me. They fit lower on the hips, did NOT accentuate my fupa from 4 c-sections, but didn't fit tight to my legs. Even in a 12, I'd bet they'd be loose in my legs. I wasn't going for a fitted look, so it worked out. I am definitely short, but feel that's more in my torso. The length felt mostly comfortable and occasionally too short when I sat. No real adjusting needed when I stood from a seat or the car. You KNOW what I mean. Let's just see if I can keep them white.

Best shorts I have!
I just love these shorts. I want more colors Torrid…please. The stretch make them so comfortable. I have a belly so I ordered size 16 (210 lbs). They fit great. The legs are not flared and they fit exactly how I like (slightly loose). I have had them a couple of weeks and I have washed and worn them 3 times.
