Perfect summer undershort
Bought these shorts to wear under dresses in the summer - both for coverage (it's often windy where I live) and to prevent 'chub-rub'. The lace is perfect for the latter, without adding too much bulk or trapping heat. The waistband is wide enough and high enough that it doesn't cause any 'sausage rolls', and give a fairly smooth silhouette.

Useful and pretty!
I wanted shorts that could cover my underwear without being bulky or showing through under dresses, and these are perfect. The lace is beautiful and soft and I think it adds a nice touch of class. The solid fabric only covers what underwear briefs would, but I think you could still wear the shorts alone. I’m 5’7”, 320lbs and I got the size 5 like I usually do for bottoms. They are just right - not constricting like shapewear but secure and smooth.

Perfect for my music festival outfit! I am pregnant so my current sizing is not reliable, but pre pregnancy I would have fit my normal size 2 comfortably I am wearing a 3 to accommodate the growing belly. I am wearing them under a body suit and the solid part of the shorts fits nicely under the one I got. I will also be wearing these under shorter dresses to.

I love Torrid bike shorts and these are no exception. I do agree with the reviewers who don’t want to wear them
Solo. But I love the length and I wear them under my flowy sundresses . Remember the old days(dating myself here) of the pettipant? Worn instead of a slip ? Sort of a slim bloomer type garment , giving an opaque vibe to skirts and dresses that were too sheer.

I bought these in black and pink and I am so glad I did. These are awesome. I love the look of lace with the regular fabric on top. I have sensory issues and hate the way lace feels on my butt (including panties) and these offer the coverage from the lace that I need. I should say though, this lace is very soft and has stretch to it so it is also very comfortable. Definitely recommend. I wish I could wear these every day! I ordered a size 2 which I usually do in Torrid's leggings because I don't like them uncomfortably tight. These fit perfect and comfortably.

Buy these! Seriously! In my opinion, these are more of an undergarment to be worn under a dress or skirt. Because of chub rub I need to wear some kind of shorts etc under my skirt or dress, and these are amazing!! It gives a sexy peek if your skirt flips up a little, but is still fairly modest. I bought all colors!! I hope Torrid makes more colors as I would love a red and a white. They are super comfortable too! I wear a 2x for reference, and the bra is a Torrid push up plunge kind.

I just got these a few days and finally tried them on. I'll start with what I dislike about them first. Typically I get a 6 in the signature waist line of bottoms so that's what I got this time and they were too big! Can you believe that!? Haha. That's quite literally the only bad thing I have to say about them!! Other than that, these shorts are perfection!! The lace is so super soft and goes up quite high on the sides. It's almost like underwear coverage with lace legs. Which I guess that's pretty much exactly what they are! As another reviewer (one that obviously didnt even purchase the shorts) said they look like super hero shorts but in the best way possible! I also got the black ones but I didn't try those on, just the pink ones. I cannot wait to wear these out and see all the stares I get! I would say if you're between sizes go with the smaller size cuz there's plenty of stretch in these. The crotch area was what was baggy and loose.
