Awesome swim shorts
True to size bottoms, I'm a 14, size 1 pants and I ordered a size 1 swim bottoms are perfect. Great galaxy print and comfortable high waist design, pleased to have matching it with the v shaped galaxy top.

So comfy!
I bought these to use more as athletic shorts or cover-ups than for actual swimming, and I wasn't disappointed! They're super comfy and they fit true to size. They're very fitted in the legs, which is fine since they're meant to be swimwear. I'll definitely be wearing these a lot this summer!

I got these galaxy swim shorts in a size 3 to match last year's galaxy swim top (also size 3), & while they do fit nice for swimming, I kinda don't like how they make my stomach look with a bikini type of top on. I'm 230-240lbs, carry most of my weight in my stomach, & I normally wear sizes 2-3 & 20-22 bottoms. I've been losing weight recently, so I'm still gonna keep the size 3, however, I might order a size 4 too since they have a drawstring just to wear around the house as regular shorts lol. They're really comfortable & they have pockets!!! I really hope that Torrid comes out with more selections for galaxy swim tops this year to match these shorts because I'm not really a fan of that "flouncy" swim top that's supposed to pair with these. Also, HAND WASH & HANG DRY ALL SWIMWEAR FROM TORRID!!! I spend hundreds on Torrid's swimwear last year, & a lot of those suits have lost color & elasticity, even just from the washer & hang drying like the description says to do. It's a little more effort to wash them by hand, but it's well worth the time to make these GORGEOUS swimsuits last more than just one year. Avoid putting them in the dryer at all costs!

Bought them to wear over my one piece with the same pattern, for a bit of extra coverage of my bits when I chase my kids around. I’m not sure if I’ll wear them as such, the inseam is a bit shorter than I’d expected, and I would have preferred a higher waist on them, but they’re swim shorts, so I guess that’s how they’re meant to be. I would not feel comfortable wearing them on their own, if I didn’t have a bathing suit on underneath them.
The pocket is tiny on them, so I can’t expect to put anything like sunscreen or my phone or anything if I take my kids to the splash park - could probably remove the pocket to save some cost to the customer, or add a zipper so that a locker key can be kept safely in it. The way the pocket is on them right now is pretty useless and just adds bulk to my hips.

I am somewhere between a 1 and 2 in torrid sizing. Have other bathing stuff from them and size 2 bottoms are usually perfect. However size 2 in these made me look like a can of biscuits. Returned and ordered a size 3. Advice is to size up 1.

My size for bottoms at Torrid are a 3, and even though I can (barely) fit into these, once wet it would be impossible to take them off. Very disappointed as they are sold out of the size I need

I sized up after reading the reviews for other suits. Bottoms are still very tight and now are sold put in 2 sizes bigger than what I normally wear. Very disappointed as I wanted this suit to work out.
