Great fit and so cute!
These look so cute and fit great with the matching swim dress. I bought these to go under my swim dress. I have a nasty scar on my thight. I'm self conscious of so I like to keep it covered.

Love It!
I got the bottoms and the matching top and I love this swimsuit. It covers my thighs, looks really cute, and I got compliments! It makes swimming a more comfortable experience since my thighs aren't rubbing together when I walk around the pool. I highly recommend!

Iridescent mermaid
As soon as I saw these, I snatched them up to match the swimsuit top that was sold last year.
I needed a more boyshort/biker short bottom and these filled that need.
They match the top from last year perfectly.
My only complaint is that even though I bought these in my normal size 2, they seem to run slightly large and I could have gotten away with a 1 in the waist.
Overall, I love them and they are great to swim in.

I bought this suit in my normal size online. I was so hoping it would fit…and it DID!!! It’s the cutest and most comfy suit I’ve ever worn. I want more in different colors and details like rainbows, unicorns, galaxy…and all in the fab metallic holographic coolness!!! LOVE THIS SUIT!!!

If you typically size up in Torrid active and swim, I would recommend buying your true size in these. I have most of the active and swim pieces in this color pattern and I’ve had to size up in all of them, but these shorts fit just right, much looser than I expected. I’m a size 16 and sized up to a 2, for reference. Otherwise, they look and feel great. There’s a mesh lining on the inside that makes them more comfortable than the active leggings, IMO. I’m going to wear them as regular shorts!

Comfy, but thin
They are comfortable, stay in place while swimming, but if you are laying out in the sun, they are thin and you will feel the sun burning through the material. They are hand wash, so keep that in mind. They are great for the beach though, in and out of the water, they stay in place well. They are not lined like some other shorts I have. Like, they don’t have attached “underwear” in them, so the butt area feels the sun if you are tanning. They are very cute though!

SO CLOSE to being what I was hoping for. I have always worn shorts over my swim bottoms so I was very excited when Torrid put these out. But they just don’t work for me. Having a larger lower abdomen, my belly hangs and these shorts do nothing to support it so they aren’t as comfortable as I needed them to be. I am thinking maybe if they out swim underwear IN the lining of the shorts …like they do in men’s trunks….that would make them perfect.

Pattern lovely, bad cut
I'll start off that the scales are gorgeous! The pattern is gorgeous and I wish the fit wasn't so awkward. These go too high waist, and just look awkward. The sizing is also a bit tight, but if I go up a size, they would be too big in the waist. Just a shame. I really wish these were lower waist like the holographic skull shorts.

rise is too short!
These are *so* cute, and I desperately wanted to like them, but unfortunately, as is the case for many of Torrid's bottoms for me, the rise is just not high enough. These swim shorts are clearly supposed to hit at the natural waist, but they were two, maybe three inches below my natural waist on me. If I tried to pull them up to sit at my waist-- camel toe city. I love the pattern, I love the iridescence, I just really wish Torrid had more options that took into account people with high waists, a lot of lower belly, or both!

This review probably won't help many but this is the 3rd huge order Ive placed with Torrid and items remain "in process" for a couple weeks. It has been since May 3rd when I placed my order and I receive promotional emails and requests to review the items I ordered. Here's your review u keep asking for Torrid!! I would love to have tried this swimsuit and reviewed it for others, but I'm going to need to seek out other retailers that have efficient online ordering. With Torrid, don't plan on having your items for a month, especially if you're planning for vacation or just the season. I've contacted Customer service 5 days ago and there's been no response nor order update. Meanwhile, some items I've ordered have now sold out in my size. It's a shame bc Torrid has some great unique items, but sheesh, they're an epic FAIL with their online ordering!
