Perfect fit!

I have only worn this dress a few times, but every time I do, I receive compliments.
It is figure flattering while being both modest, professional, and VERY comfortable. The cut of the dress is not like many I have seen, and it did a fantastic job of hiding the “pooch” of my stomach and larger backside, while playing to my natural hourglass shape. Extremely well made and of high quality material. I would easily buy this again and would love to see it in other colors as well.

This was my first dress purchase from Torrid. I needed a professional dress for work and this is exactly what I wanted. I’m 5’7” and it hits me a little below the knee. The panels on the dress give me a nice shape. I bought an 18, I’m usually a 16 in pants and a 1 or 2 in tops. I didn’t want it too fitted because of work. The grey panels are thicker than I thought, but I should have expected that because it is described as boucle. There is a lining and overall the dress has stretch. I wear a sweater over it to keep with the dress code where I work. It was very comfortable. I would purchase again in another color combination.

This dress is beautiful but it runs big. I could’ve sized down but it’s not drastically big. Actually, the way my body is set up I don’t like to wear a lot of form fitting clothes at my job because of my shape. I’m 5’0 tall and this dress is sort of long on me but it’s very professional. I will pair with a blazer or shrug and heels.

I had a very similar dress to this that I got at another store about 6 years ago, but I put weight on and it got tight. I was sad because I really like how I looked in it. I was SO happy to come across this dress here. I love it. The only reason I can't give it a full 5 stars is that while it fits great, it's a little big in the underarm area so you have to make sure you've got a bra that can be "hidden" so to speak. Otherwise, I love this dress.

This one was purchased based on the silhouette alone. The fabric is heavy, yet it is a good quality. For me, it was too big and I will need to have it cut down and tailored as I am unable to return or exchange it. It feels like a power suit in dress form; perfect for the office.
