Very comfortable!
So I just got this dress in a 4x because it's made of gauze fabric, and I thought it might shrink. It is a bit big, but it looks great with a belt; which is also from Torrid. I'm 4'11", 250lbs. , and this dress does go below my knees. A couple extras: lining and pockets. The lining definitely helps to make this dress warm enough for an Indiana winter. I do recommend this dress, but I suggest just getting your normal size.

Overall, I really like this dress - it's light and airy, comfortable for the most part.
The only complaint I have is that the sleeves could be longer. When extending my arm, the elastic cuff slides up to about halfway up my forearm - and since it's elastic, it's a snug fit, which isn't necessarily comfortable. I can slide the sleeves up to elbow heigh when I need the fluff out of the way, and it's not painfully tight at that level either, but it's also not tugging the elastic the way straightening out my arm does.

Super cute dress
I am 5'11" 275lbs and usually wear a size 2 in Torrid. I ordered this in a size 1, as I didnt want it to be as boxy as the model. It hits me a few inches above the knee.
It fits perfectly AND IT HAS POCKETS.
The under boob area is not stretchy, so beware of that. I was worried I wouldnt get it over my chest, but I had no real issue - although it was a little snug pulling it down over my chest. Once it was over, it fit perfectly and was comfortable.
Wish the sleeves were slightly longer, but overall I am happy with it!

Shrinkage!!!!!
I bought this and it fit good. Washed it once and it shrunk so bad!!!! For the price I paid I'm very disappointed!

Shrinkage!!!!!
