I love this dress, didn't know it was a velvet material...I clearly don't read the titles, I just buy whatever is cute but it makes the black on the dress really stand out and I love that about this dress. The flower pattern is perfectly spread out and not overbearing. I wore this to a New Year's Eve party and people were asking me where I had got it. The upper area surprisingly wasn't huge and loose. The only downside to this dress is while sitting down the dress tends to run up and wants to show everything.

I bought this because I had been staring at it online for a while. I’m so glad I bought it. I wear a 1/2 and I got a 2. It fits really well. The dress is super soft and I think the pockets are a nice addition. I felt super pretty in this. The dress is gorgeous!

So stinking cute
I tried this on a couple months ago and fell in love. Great length (I'm 5'8" and it hits mid thigh). I waited and bought it during the black Friday sale. In the late 90's I owned a skirt in the same pattern, so it's very nostalgic.

Seen this in store and on a whim decided to try it on and fell in love. It’s so stretchy and fits amazing. I don’t have an issue with my bra. I’m 5’4” 260 44-46 j I love the fit so much even though it’s winter here. I will probably wear black leggings with over the knee boots. It’s so cute. I wore it today and didn’t want to take it off. Velvet is so amazing. I’ve purchased so many velvet pieces this year. Thanks Torrid. Oh the straps can be adjusted they’re just tied. And there’s pockets. Yay!!! I’m a size 2 on the bigger side of a 2 and this is a 2. It’s very stretchy and comfortable. It even fit my breast area very well.

The fit of this dress is lovely. So flattering on all different body shapes, and is soft, which is a plus. It does have pockets, which I love very much. It didn’t ride up in the back which is something I struggle with (big butt problems), so I was really happy with that as well. I want more dresses like this one, Torrid!

This dress is so pretty, warm, and flattering. I love how the straps are self tie and do not come undone. The colors are gorgeous for fall and even winter. I am a size 0 and 1 sometimes and I sized up to a one because I am large up top (40F) and it was a perfect fit. It also gave me some length because this is for sure shorter on me and I’m not very tall I am about 5’5” and it’s 4 inches above the knee when I sit down it’s very short. I will say that my legs are long so that’s also a reason why it’s so short on me. Overall I recommend this dress and at this price point it’s worth it!

I finally bought this dress after I had been eyeing it for a while and saw it went on sale. It is cute, the print is nice, the ruffle detail and tie shoulders are also unique and add to the look, and I like how the velvet material feels without being too thick and heavy. However, I took off a point because the fit is a little off to me. It may just be me, but the waist and bust area are a little loose, while the rest of it fits great like on the model. So, if you want to look more like the model, size down. But if you like a flowy-er, roomier fit, go with your usual size. Regardless, I'm happy with it and am having my mom alter it to fit me better.

Grandma's couch vibez?
I'm 5'8,around 220 pounds. Normally a size 1 in dresses but went with a 2 since this is a more form fitting style. I dig the feel and the cut I but I felt the pattern was a little too grandma's couch vibes in the basement. Can I pull it off? Sure,but florals are just feeling tiresome as of late. It does have pockets so that is cool.

I was worried about this not being flattering because it's cut more straight than flared but it's cute and still flattering. Thin velvet so shouldn't be too hot. A little on the shorter side which is fun and will be good with leggings or tights.

If you have an apple shaped body, this dress isn't it. It's not flattering at all and the neckline is awkward. Love that it's velvet and I like the pattern, but not worth it for the price.
