Love this Dress!
I bought in a size 5. I have the Rose Floral dress Torrid made like this last year. I love these dresses and the skirts. I wore the rose dress with skirt for our engagement dinner and just the skirt with leggings, a cami, and sweater for our engagement photos. The original dress skirt was a little long they shortened this one a bit and I love it even more.

OMG I'm in love!
I was so nervous buying this dress. I *really* wanted to love it, but I know not everything I love in a photo looks right on me. But this dress?? WOW. I actually think it looks better on me than on the model, lol. The skirt is actually long! You don't know how hard it is for a 5'10" woman to find a skirt that almost hits the floor. And I see a lot of shorter women complaining about this. But come on, give us tall people something for a change. All you have to do is take something in or wear some heels if it's too long. We can't just add material or cut off our feet when things are too short for us. Now the scuba dress portion underneath, yes it is short. And it would be too short for me to wear it alone. But with the skirt over the top of it, I don't really have a problem with it except that my legs are too white and the contrast is weird, lol. So I tried it on with a pair of leggings and problem solved. For the wedding I'm wearing this to, I will just wear a pair of black hose or tights under it. So I’m pretty stoked for this dress. It’s going to be beautiful with some pearls and some pointy toe flats.

Bought this in a 2 my usual size and it was way too big. Size 1 is a little tight but looks great. I would recommend to size down. Beautiful!!

Love the skirt!
I truly bought this for the skirt only. The dress is scuba material and very clingy; I'd never wear it...even with leggings underneath. I wanted the skirt to wear with leggings and a top, in case we ever get to go our to dinner again! Love the skirt, I wish it were a bit softer. I'm hoping it will get softer after a wash. The skirt is flowing and true to size, color is fantastic. The dress fabric is uncomfortable and will be going to Goodwill.

Love the Skirt but...
The concept of this set is amazing! I love the idea of having a sheer skirt to wear with other dresses, shorts, skirts and a top, etc. Unfortunately, the dress it comes with is really, really short. I can't really bend without the dress riding up rather comically. And the skirt. It fits perfectly up top, but it is so long. And also, you will need to own a steamer to get all the wrinkles out of it, it's quite bad. So overall, the set is okay. I'm keeping it for the skirt honestly.

Too Long
This skirt is gorgeous, and the concept is a great one. BUT... the skirt is waaaaay too long. I'm 5'6" tall, and the skirt is puddling on the floor at my feet. Normally, if it's love, I would just have the skirt hemmed, but since the pattern is only at the bottom, that would ruin the entire skirt. So, back it goes.
Also, the organza fabric is a little stiff, so it's not necessarily slimming around the gathered waist, if that's a concern for you.

Cute Skirt
I like the idea of the two pieces but the dress itself is not flattering at all. I thought that it just looked bad in the because it didn't flatter her and she's a model so they put anything in her. That was the case. The dress is made entirely wrong. I have not see anyone look flattering in the dress part.

More Cons Than Pros
I purchased this because I love the 2 piece set and I had one similar I wore last year from Torrid that I love, so I was excited when I saw this one. But I'm leaning towards returning it. I'm 5'3" and this is like a foot too long on me. The black dress basically is way too short. I would feel uncomfortable wearing the dress. It otherwise fits me perfectly. I purchased a size 3. I normally wear a size 22 pants. Also, the pattern on the skirt is just not pretty in person. It honestly looks like vomit. I absolutely love Torrid, but I'm not a fan of this dress.
