Rated 5 out of 5 by Emsteez from Fun light-weight coat I agree with previous reviews this is not a cold weather coat. It is cute and fun, but works better in the transition months and could be worn in the winter to and from special occasions where you are outside minimally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mpg05 from Warm and luxurious I saw this coat last year and wanted it then but needed a coat with a hood first. However got it this year and when you put it on you just feel so fancy and comfy!! It’s almost sinful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Knadeau from Gorgeous, well fitting! I was so excited when I saw this winter dress coat on the Torrid website. The formal wool look in a perfect length with a beautiful faux fur collar. When it arrived I was thrilled with the quality and fit. It is so comfortable and I truly feel glamorous in it. It has an awesome price point, worth every penny and literally looks like a high end designer winter coat you would pay much more for. Definitely recommend for winter dress coat needs and anytime you need a boost of glam!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cazzacc from Love this coat Firstly, let me say this is not a cold weather coat, so don't expect to wear it in January with snow on the ground. That being said, I love this coat. I bought it last year and wore it for many months and it held up well. I've gotten TONS of compliments on it. It's fairly lightweight but warm enough for the fall and early winter months. It's structured enough that it gives me a nice, flattering shape. The fur is so fun and sassy and acts a nice neck warmer (feels like my cat is curled up on me). The only downside, to me, is that it only closes with a single clasp so it doesn't stay totally closed, especially if it's windy. Sizing up gives you more material so that it doesn't hang open as easily. Either way, it's definitely a coat made more for the sake of fashion, so just keep that mind and you'll be happy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pink baby from Good look I brought this coat cause it just looked so good to dress up or down with it and I also needed a dress coat to go out in... It has one button which is fine for me... Fits good if you want to stay closed order a size up or add another button if you chose over all great coat

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chicstyle from Love it!! Comfortable, flattering and great for winter! The fur keeps you so warm. I don’t agree with other reviewers that say it’s cheaply made or really thin. I think it’s perfect weight, however I do not like big bulky parka type coats. The only down side is the one button to close it has a loop and it is IMPOSSIBLE to button. The loop is too small for the button but I can fix that myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jennyx from So Flattering! I feel like my 30 year old self again wearing this coat. It’s so flattering and classy. The single clasp is and issue, but I’m taking this to my tailor with one big beautiful button that should work fine. It will probably take me into late November as it’s a light coat. Happy with it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by CT80 from Not Great Quality I really wanted to love this coat. The pictures on the website looked like it was exactly what I wanted. But honestly, it just feels cheap. Super light weight, fabric is easily wrinkled, only one single button on the coat. It feels like a coat you would get in a discount clothing store for $40. Not what I expect from Torrid. I have purchased several other coats from Torrid and loved them, but this one falls short on quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kaitrosebd from I bought this coat last year, never worn it I bought this coat last year and never wore it, it's just that bad. I wanted to love this coat SO MUCH but the fit is weird and there is only one small latch closure in the front. Because there is only one flimsy closure in the front this jacket does not close and the closure felt like it would fall off by the second wear as of the day I received it. The collar does not sit right and is basically held on by a couple of small buttons, plus there is no actual collar under the fur it's just free-floating fur fabric over a collarless coat shell, there is no collar on the coat shell to support it or to maintain it's position/shape. This also means there is a draft at the neck and it offers no actual weather protection and if you try to "adjust the collar" as many instinctively do, all you are doing is lifting or moving what is effectively a free-floating chunk of fur fabric which is now weirdly out of place since again there is NO COLLAR ON THIS COAT FOR THIS FABRIC TO SIT ON. This jacket feels like every corner that could be cut 100% was cut. This is NOT a functional coat, has no functional collar, and is only truly wearable for a five-minute walk from the car to an event over a pretty dress. The only reason I still have it is that I hold out some hope I can pay a seamstress to add a zipper or buttons to the front rather than the flimsy garbage hook it came with. Unless you are buying this for a specific occasion over a dress, just don't do it, this is not the winter coat you want. It looks like the winter coat you want, because from far away it looks lovely but THIS IS NOT THE COAT YOU WANT.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Totally upset from HORRIBLE!! I just bought this two weeks ago. Put the coat on very disappointed poor quality of a coat oh wait a very sad attempt of calling it a coat. Fur is barely hanging on the felt type material which is stiched horribly together but wait there’s more then undersides of the sleeves are some stretch fabric not even a full sleeves of material. Beware!!! Whoever Torrid got these made from or bought they need to have thought twice. Didnt want to even give it a one star but site wouldn’t let me give -neg star rating

Rated 1 out of 5 by LestAnn123 from Waist of money This coat is expensive but cheap. Like other reviews the jacket is really light weight and not suitable for cold weather, other than that there is only one flimsy hook in the front and so you can't keep it closed at all. For me the button on front also fell off after the first wear. I like the fur but I bought a fur collar like this from another store for less than $10. If you want it for the fur collar just buy a fur collar and add it to your favorite jacket, this coat is terrible and has no shape, no cold protection, and looks better than it actually is, also like other reviews there is no collar under the fur so one of the button loops on the collar also broke after a couple wears since the fur isn't really supported by anything so trying to bury your face in it just pulls on cheap button loops. I wish I hadn't bought this overpriced jacket and instead bought a good quality coat and added my own collar for half the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Neko Noir from Thin and cheap looking I was very disappointed with this coat and promptly returned it. When I think "woolen coat" I think of something thick and substantial. This fabric is quite thin and is not a winter weight at all (unless you live someplace where it doesn't get very cold, but I live in Michigan). For some reason the backs of the sleeves have a panel of some kind of cheap nylon-y fabric. The collar is some kind of itchy monster fur and there's no basic collar under it... it's just attached to the coat shell with a couple buttons. All in all this coat felt cheap and shoddy, not the quality I expect from Torrid!
