So Comfortable!

Not quite as wide.
Okay, so I bought both platform black sandals. Torrid has the one with the black base and these that have the brown base. I’m keeping both too!!! Lol The black base is a little lighter weight, a little wider, about 1/4 taller….. but with the platform they both feel identical. Width and sound are the main difference. The black one is a little louder to walk in… but so darn comfortable because a pinch wider. This brown base pair is not quite as edgy but super cute and casual. IMO. Hope the pictures help … if between the two or like me just get both. I love a good platform shoe that’s not so tall I could break something. I normally wear a sketchers 8.5wide and a torrid close toe 7.5 and 7 open toe. I bought both in a 7. Don’t mind my feet just wanted to compare. Lol I’m serious about some comfy footwear. Both are the fake leather and love them because they stay looking nice. I like the look of the suede but just doesn’t feel right to wear if hot or rainy out. Probably just me. I don’t want to deal with all the suede covered heel bases on a every day walk about … it gets dirty and not as easy to wipe off. So many of torrid heeled sandals are suede. Oh well , to each their own. Im tickled pink with both pairs that are available now.

Very comfortable
After having knee surgery easing back into wearing some form of heel and these were just perfect. They were not only comfortable but the height was just perfect.

Cute, but not flat/wobbly
I love the look of these and they are honestly comfortable. I dont ever size done in torrid shoes and ordered my normal size 12. What I don’t like is that when I walk in them they seem to teeter and my foot is never flat on the ground. I’m not sure if that’s an issue with the shoe or just me not being used to them. I walked around in them all day and had no problems other than trying to figure out how to walk in them and not be wobbly. I LIVE in wedges, so I don’t think it’s a height thing. They are kind of heavy- but nothing more than what I’m used to.

A little loud
Shoes are a bit loud when walking on then butthat is probably my fault as I am used to walking in completely flat shoes. Hahaha

Needs treat on bottom!!!
I had to return these even though I think they are super cute. They need a tread on the bottom (which I’m sure you could add at a cobbler). I use a cane so didn’t want to chance it.

Cute but defective
Very cute and fit great but didn’t get to wear them because when I received them both shoes had a defect. They still had my size online so I was able to reorder them. I did order a half size smaller than my normal size and it was perfect. Posted photos of the defect, one had a hole and one was cracked

Straps are not Wide
I used my $20 reward to buy these shoes and sadly they did not fit. The straps were too small. The base of the shoe fit and is wide enough but my foot couldn't fit into the straps. Even the straps that go behind the heel was not long enough. I even sized up to a 12. lol. I've also tried to give it away to all the other ladies in my life within size 11 to 12 and it fits no one. Too big or too small.

Pass for wide feet
If you have wide feet and a high instep don't bother ordering i ordered my usual 11.5 and i can't get my foot forward enough to buckle them behind my foot. Would definitely help if they made the strap that buckles an inch longer. Then you would have more strap to work with, and they would have fit. This isnt the first time I've had this problem with torrid sandals.
