Very sexy!
I love this dress! It is simple and sexy. I love the length and the slit on the side. I have not worn it out yet, but I am happy with it. I am 5'9" and curvy and this dress is very flattering to my body type.

I love the dress, the fabric is smooth and moves with you. My only critique is that there isn't enough cinching at the waist, and the chest cut out bends when ever you move your arms. But otherwise great dress.

Good fit
I got this in a 5 i wear a 4 and it fit great now. Wore to work, only problem was my bra showed but that was my issue wrong bra. Everyone at work loved it.
Other problem is that it took almost a month to get to me. I now online mail stuff changed but customers should not have to feel it on our end. I ordered from another store ships same way same place and got their stuff in under week so was not post office fault, did not ship fot 2 1/2 weeks. When website said i would have it by. This is not customer satisfaction. When you call customer service all they say is its processing so you cannot even stop it and get your money back. I love dress but im really dissatisfied with torrids lately as a whole, and i am VIP what ever that means except i spen a whole lot of money there. Well use too... i might be stopping soon.

Cute dress, thin material
They call it “Studio knit” because “shiny, thin, stretch rayon-like material” won’t fit on the tag. Beware wearing this with jewelry or hugging anyone who is. True this material doesn’t pill like regular knit but it catches and pulls very rallied and you’ll be left with very obvious damage to your garment. Ordered a 2 to look fitted but my 48-41-53 frame is asking for a more flattering 3.

I’m a 2x. This was to long and tight bellow and loose up top. It just didn’t fit well. I was so disappointed I really want a little black dress but this isn’t it.

Not what I expected
I bought this expecting a knit like how some of the tees are, but it came in and honestly felt like spandex. I thought I was wearing a halloween costume, not a dress. I bought two different sizes hoping one would fit. Both fit, but the 1 fit my shoulders better than the 2. In either case, the part of the dress at the top just above the boob gap felt loose and also like it was choking me at the same time on both dresses. To top it off, dress does not look shiny in the photo but is definitely shiny IRL. Did not love. Was disappointed really.

Quality of shein
This item is priced like torrid premium wear but is the quality of something you'd see on a no name site for cheap cheap prices. I had threads coming out everywhere, the material was practically see-through, and I felt like the piece I got was asymmetrical.
Normally torrid dresses offer some kind of protection or are a bit thicker, but this was more like a bathing suit or active wear. I've gotten torrid bodycon dresses before, so I know they have the ability to make quality dresses. But this was a huge disappointment.
I'm 5'6 and 330 pounds. I can. Wear a 3 or 24 normally. I think if the material were thicker this could be more flattering, but for me, it was a no go. I felt like it fit longer on me and was stretchy but not flattering.
