It's always nice when I don't have to worry about a pair of boots zipping up over my wide calves. I like the sweater and lace-up details - it adds a bit more interest than a plain brown boot.

Adorable, weird fit
Bought these in the size that I'm used to buying in other brands and they fit okay in the calf, even though they get super slouchy looking, but the toes pointed enough that I couldn't have sized down, even though the shoe feels massive.

Beautiful boot, funny fit
These boots are as pretty in person as they are in the picture, and I love wearing them. But like all Torrid shoes, the fit is a little off. With other brands, I'm squarely a 10W or 10.5, but I've learned to buy 9.5 at Torrid, which I did here. The shoe itself fits fine, but the calf is REALLY wide, wider than other wide-calf boots I've bought from Torrid. Some might enjoy that, and I don't mind it, but it feels worth mentioning.

I bought and would say poor construction. The zipper pulled right off, the soles were much thinner that expected and there was a adjustable gap at the top of the boot.

These are super cute, and the color is great. But lately torrid is striking out on their shoes.. the calfs are so wide they are uncomfortable. I am returning these. I really wish they would of worked out.

Cheap zipper
Aesthetically, I LOVED these boots! Plus, they fit my super thick calves just perfectly due to the added stretch. The reason I'm only giving them 2 stars is because of the janky zipper! I tried them on the first time with zero issues. However when I tried them on later that same day to show my boyfriend (trying to compare to the over-the-knee camel boots), the zipper broke into several pieces. Basically the housing for the zipper detached from the part that actually slides up and down. I was SO SAD, because I've spent the past 2 years trying to find the perfect pair of boots and I thought I'd finally found them... But no - my search continues. I've ordered a 2nd pair to try, but I don't feel confident in trying them on without reinforcing the zipper with JB Weld.

The top part of the boot sticks out and doesn't hug your calf. It's made like that on purpose. I returned it.

Wrong boots received
I ordered this pair of boots and when I received them, the box was the right ones but inside were some thigh high black velvet boots. So much for Quality Control.

Very poor quality
Zipper on the left boot broke before I was able to try these boots on. But I did try on the right boot to check the fit to reorder - too small. I have been buying 10.5 for years from Torrid and this is the first pair that did not fit. Hope this is not a new boot vendor.
