Got both colors—want MORE
I ADORE sweaters and cardigans, and I’ve been longing for a nice thick sweater/duster in black for a while now. I originally bought this coatigan in black but loved it so much I went back and ordered it in oatmeal too! SO soft and cozy and wonderful. I’m 6’0”, so the sleeves are short on me, but the knit is stretchy and loose enough that it doesn’t bug me. I wasn’t used to all-over cable-knit sweaters, though, so I didn’t realize your fingers are going to constantly run through the “holes” created by the nature of the cable knit if you’re not careful, as well as catching on other objects (hangers, doorknobs, etc.), especially if you’re klutzy. It drove me crazy at first, as I was poking my fingers through it all the time by accident, but I don’t care now. Another reviewer mentioned she wished it had buttons, but I actually like the look without them…there’s another Torrid coatigan that has them, but the buttons are contrasting, which I hate! This is definitely my favorite style, especially with the notched collar. Please make more of these! Even though they’re ridiculously expensive with a great sale, I will buy ALLLL the colors, promise!!

Classic Coatigan
Love coatigans even though I am only 5'1", this one is a bit long on me, but that is the only drawback! Lovely color, nice and cozy, well made and who doesn't love pockets, plus it is a classical design and can be dressed many different ways. For the price, snagged on sale, this is a great addition to any wardrobe. I did buy a 4 (usual buy a 3) and it is a bit bigger than i anticipated, but that's ok, it still looks great. Would definitely buy in other colors maybe a burgundy or red next year Torrid???

So soft!
I took a chance on this sweater not sure if it would look bulky or too tight. I wear a size 1-2 and sizes up to 2. I LOVE it. It looks great. Not bulky and it’s incredibly soft! It washed nice. I laid mine flat to dry. Washed well. I’m 5’2 and it came about mid calf on me.

Thick and Warm
I just love this sweater. It's nice and thick and very warm. I live in the Northeast and hate wearing a coat but this is a nice compromise. It's very soft and I love the length. I've worn it almost everyday since I got it! I bought this a size up so I could layer underneath and it worked out great

I Love It!
This sweater-coat is warm, heavy, and great looking. I also got the cable knit scarf...looks wonderful together! Then length is perfect, reaching my calfs (I'm 5'8"). This has been my go-to coat this winter! I got it one size bigger so I could layer clothes underneath, so it's a tad large...which I love.

So Warm!
I love this sweater! It's long, thick, and super-warm! I ordered a size up so I could wear layers underneath. It wraps around me very nicely, I don't miss buttons down the front at ALL. My friends liked it so much, I ordered more for them for Christmas gifts...they'll be thrilled! I highly recommend this piece. I usually wear a 3X, but ordered a 4X. I love the way it fits, it's perfect for me!

Ok. I absolutely love this. But it runs big! I’m a size 16 and ordered a zero in this. I’m usually a 2 in tops and a 1 for jeans. Size down. Or you will be swimming in it. But it’s amazing. Get it.

Beautiful coatigan
I just received the sweater. I love the weight and the cable knit. It’s soft and comfortable. I agree with other reviews. It looks black not brown. Fortunately, I wanted a black coatigan. I ordered my normal size and it fits great. Unfortunately, I gave it one less star because I thought it would be a longer length. i’m 4‘11“ and it hit me right below my knee. I would prefer it to come to my calf. The other Torrid coatigans I received were a longer length.

I Love It!
