Perfect crew neck tee
I originally bought this in black, but I liked it so much I bought the yellow one too. The sleeves are longer than a typical tee shirt - which I love. I love the fit, length and material… I love everything about this shirt.

For reference I’m 5’10 and around 245 lbs and I went with the size 3. Good choice. Top isn’t really stretchy but it is forgiving. Sleeves are good, I do wish they were a little longer, they stop at the elbow but don’t necessarily cover them. I got the aqua color and it’s nice, not too subtle, comfortable, not paper thin but not heavy or thick. Crew neck is also forgiving, it doesn’t choke me like most crew tees. Overall it’s a nice basic top that’s comfortable and cute at the same time. Definitely getting more.

Love elbow-length sleeve!
This is the best tee, for a few reasons: 1. ELBOW SLEEVES!! 2. Material is a lightweight-but-not-too-thin breathable cotton (Thank you!! I try to avoid polyester like the plague). 3. I’m a 40DDD/G and v-necks can often show more cleavage than I’m comfortable with (looking at you, Torrid’s “Favorite Tunic”), but sometimes crew necks can feel too restrictive — this one is just right.
I bought two in black as it’s an excellent staple, but sadly the only other colors offered currently are a couple of pastels. PLEASE, Torrid, keep this tee available forever AND with many more color options!! I’d love Navy, a deep teal or lake blue, deep green, cranberry or raspberry, wine red, eggplant, heather gray… practically anything except pale pastels.

Great Summer Top
Bought this a few weeks ago and I wasn’t expecting to like it. I was looking for a comfy tee with sleeves to my elbow, so I took a change. I bought in orange (and honestly didn’t expect to like that either). I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a perfect summer shirt - light/airy, complimenting color, gives you a figure (you don’t look like you’re wearing a bag) without highlighting the bad.
Accidentally bought a 2 when I usually wear a 1 and I consider this luck, because the 2 actually makes this more t-shirt like (not clingy/airflow) without making the neck opening too large.
If there were more color choices, I would def buy. I do think the white would probably be too thin to wear without a cami (defeating the purpose). Pinks/Blues/Greens etc - I would buy 1 of every color.
FYI - the shirt goes best with a Jean - shorts of pants. I tried with leggings and I got a more frumpy vibe. Maybe that’s just me and my body though.

I really like this t-shirt. It fits great and feels nice. I have super sensitive skin, and I find that almost everything I’ve purchased from Torrid feels good on my skin, t-shirts included. I also really like the longer sleeves. For me, cap sleeves are the worst - these give a lot more coverage and look nice. The only downside is that they are a bit pricey and for some reason the black attracts other fibers after washing, so I have to go over it and pick off stray fuzz, which is odd. Maybe I am not supposed to wash this regularly? But I have a gray one and it doesn’t seem to be the same fabric, so who knows?c

Eh, it's just a Tee
I bought the yellow and aqua. The yellow is more orange than yellow and not at all what I expected, aqua is actually mint so yeah, not what I expected either. These are literally just a regular tee...nothing special. Get them on sale if you are buying, size up so they can shrink without becoming too tight.

Thank god Torrid has started offering longer sleeves again, but this is sooo long at the bottom too, the size 4 measures 31” at the front and 32” in the back. It fits very similar to the Tunic tee but is a much thinner material. I’m 5’11 and apple shaped without much of a butt, so tops like this just look so sloppy on me and like I have a nightgown on. Very bummed because the sleeves are nice and long and the fabric is much more thin and breathable for summer. I don’t get why there are only crop tops or tunic length being sold now? I just want a tee that covers my arms and doesn’t look like a night shirt!
