Favorite dress!
Once I saw this dress, I HAD to have it! It's my favorite color and shade of pink. The corset design on the back is so cute and stylish! However, I didn't know it came with a contouring layer underneath the dress that helps "suck your fat in" I guess? Makes it a little less comfortable, but the end result is worth it! It has now become my favorite dress! Great design Torrid!

I love the flirting of this style. Did not realize "contouring" = full girdle. Surprisingly the shape ware is pretty comfortable.

Fits like a dream
I bought this to wear at my Godchild's Wedding in June. I tried it on when it came without the right shoes etc and my husband said I looked stunning so I'm sure with hair and makeup and jewelry and shoes it will be perfect

Super comfy!
I bought this dress to wear to a wedding and it was perfect! The silhouette is super flattering! The contouring liner took some wiggling into, but it wasn't constricting. I got so many compliments in the color too!

PRETTY IN PINK!!!
When I saw this dress, I HAD TO HAVE IT!!! The color is amazing, beautiful and bright. I am a darker skinned female and the pink flatters me in ways that I absolutely LOVE!!! I find the included shapewear sufficient to smooth out the 'rumples' and make the dress more flattering to my shape. I am hoping to be invited to an outdoor spring wedding so I can show off my curves and be PRETTY IN PINK!!!

I bought this dress for a wedding. It paired well with a sequin jacket and belt for a formal cocktail attire and you can dress it down with a sweater. The color is a lot brighter than the picture. It’s a hot pink. And there is a mini dress of sorts underneath that does tend to ride up but it’s tolerable. Sizing was on point. It was a little shorter than I expected, but not too short.

Secret girdle inside!
I guess I didn’t read the fine print closely enough, because I was really surprised when I saw that the inside of this dress had a body con feature. I highly suggest putting it on by sticking your feet in it and pulling it up, because it would be very difficult to put on over your head. It was not as neon pink as I expected, or as neon pink as the satin dress that is the same cut, which came out a couple of years ago. It is more of a bubblegum pink with a little more muted tone to it. The fit is pretty good, but the scuba is actually a little wrinkly upon arriving in the mail. They are using a thinner scuba material than they used to and the quality is not as high meaning that it is no longer wrinkle resistant. The length was great, it has pockets, and the straps are adjustable. The back is a little bit longer but not exactly a high low ratio. I got this in both pink and black and I’m still a little up in the air about the pink.

Very happy with fit
Really surprised by the support! Not wearing a bra in these pictures and I’ve never felt like I could actually do that. I have a large chest and these were up high and mighty. The contour part was different but it’s not awful. Took me a second to get it on. Bright pink in person. This is a size 1 and that’s what I normally get in torrid dresses although I usually wear a 2 in tops. I’m also 5’5” for reference.

Love the dress
The dress is a beautiful hot pink (barbie pink) and very flattering. Yes it has shape wear slip underneath it, but the dress is gorgeous and has pockets. I will say that I sized down to what I normally wear and it was a perfect fit.

Pretty but WAY OVERPRICED
The dress is pretty flattering the only thing is the shape wear underneath is just a thin tight layer of fabric that goes down right about the knee but the dress flares out this dress would be perfect without the “shape-wear” attached I’m not really into wearing shape-wear however if I didn’t want shapewear this would’ve really disappointed I’m very sad with the cost of the dress + me wanting it asap so paying for overnight delivery I would’ve given it 1 star but I actually like it and it was cute

Gorgeous! …but NOOOOO!
I was so excited about this dress, the pictures make it look stunning online. And, when it went on sale, I JUMPED on it before it could sell out. I will say, this dress is GORGEOUS. I felt gorgeous, looked gorgeous, the dress is GORGEOUS. It’s a vibrant hot pink, close to neon but not TOO bright. But it’s vivid in color. It fit wonderfully, loved the corset, adjustable straps, length of the dress, and the flow of it- gave me a nice shape. I wear an H cup, so I wasn’t as bold as other ladies to try the dress without a bra. But the dress does contour well, lift, and make me feel super great in that regard.
Now, that I’ve complimented this dress that I only gave two stars on… it has this WEIRD spanx in it. now, I LOVE spanx. I love shapewear, it usually takes me from a 2 to a 1 and I love that. This is NOT spanx. This is a slip that’s tight and turns a flowy dress into a pencil skirt. After five minutes I felt like I would have chafing everywhere. It was so tight. Getting it off was also a challenge. I thought the spanx would be like shorts or briefs or something- anything. Maybe this dress is great for a size 10 lady but with my curves, no. If this dress didn’t have the slip- 100/5 stars. With the slip? It’s getting returned. Period. I like to be able to wear spanx that are comfy for me. I can choose briefs or shorts or bodysuit or whatever. With this, it’s too tight to wear anything extra. And super clingy, so I felt hot. I’m a size 2, 5’8”, H cup. And it just didn’t feel right. I don’t want a dress that pushes my thighs closer together and leads to chafing. If I can’t climb the stairs in my HOUSE in the dress, or get into my truck, how in the world am I getting throw the day wearing this? That being said, If you LOVE the spanx idea and like to be hugged like a boa constrictor… BUY THIS DRESS! Lol. See photos :) how I wish I could’ve loved this dress!

Stupid shapewear
I was super excited to wear this dress for my birthday but once I received it and tried it on, it didn’t fit. I don’t know if my dress was not sewn correctly but I could not get the dress on because of the shapewear. Once I did the shapewear just did not fit the way normal shapewear does.
Super cute if it didn’t have the ill fitting “shapewear”. Torrid should just let us decide if we want to wear something underneath or not. I will be sending it back tomorrow.
