I just roll or cuff up the bottom one time & you still see the frayed edges on bottom.... works perfect! If you're tall, you don't have to roll at all & fringe would just be there. I recommend these for spring summer look, but still like our black. I wore mine with a bright colored top & love them.

So they do go to right below my ankle (I'm 5'8") and that did cause the tears to be in different places, but I still love them. They do run a little big. I probably could have gotten a 28 instead of a 30. Nice stretch, but doesn't stretch in a bad way.
