Well made, pretty dress
I actually bought this for Halloween. It has Stevie Nicks/witchy vibes to it. It's very soft and delicate looking. I am 5'11 and the slip goes just past my knees, and the dress comes to just above my ankles. I got my usual size 1 and it fits very well. The slip itself is fitted at the bust (38DD) and then flares out some. I am a little worried that the lace is too delicate. But overall, I am very pleased with this dress. Plus, I got it 60% off!

witchy goth dress
The slip dress is tighter and shorter than the lace kimono but can be worn separately. I am 5'0-5'1 and the kimono does touch the floor but barely. Usually, if I order a maxi dress from Torrid, I need to get it hemmed, with me being so short, they are tripping hazards. But I see no issue with the length. I intended on wearing heels with it so it should not be a problem. I do wish the top kimono was more fitted at the waist, as it is a little boxy. I will likely wear a belt with this dress to provide more shape.

Love This Set (As 2 Pcs)!
I bought this dress with the intent to wear it as a separate kimono. I loved the other Festi line kimono (in ivory), but couldn't justify the high price, and really wanted one in black anyway.
This set is beautiful, but I love it as two separate pieces. And I love the bell sleeves!
The black slip dress underneath is a little form fitting, but looks nice, but the kimono overlay on top is the real star of the show. It is a great quality of fabric, nice weight to it without being overbearing, and is the perfect length for me and I'm 5'4.
I found the sizing to be accurate as well, I normally wear a 2 in most Torrid clothing and the 2 was perfect!

Lovely lace dress
Cute black lace dress I love black I love lace just wish there was a way to add pockets to lace and have it look and lay right anyways the dress fits tts I’m 5’6 and it wasn’t too long for me it’s a bit expensive if you don’t catch it on sale but the quality is really good also be very careful wearing/washing since it is lace you don’t want it to get snagged on anything be careful putting it on when wearing jewelry like rings bracelets necklaces because it could get caught

A Dream!
I was so happy when I realized that all of the buttons were real and the under slip completely detaches. (You have to untie the loops) I wore it out to a night market in Texas summer heat and it was manageable until the crowd really started closing in. Being able to remove the top layer was great. The only draw back is that the care tag states dry clean only but that's a small price. This is honestly the perfect point between cottagecore, Morticia Addams and Lily Munster and the fact it's made for my body, not just to extend a line is noticeable.

Beautiful and doesnt feel cheap, but can’t decide if the sleeves just look baggy on me instead of dramatic even though I have bigger upper arms. The slip underneath is also clingy and shows everything. I carry all of my weight in my belly and got a size 3 which is what I usually wear, and the lace part fits perfect in the torso but the slip is not forgiving and shows every insecurity unless I wear shapewear. I want to try to size up, but being that I’m only a B cup, I think it won’t be a good result. Also I’m 5’9” and the lace overlay goes to my ankles.

Way too long
I'm 5'4" and I should have realized that the model is nearly 6' tall. This dress hits the floor and drags in front of me as a trip hazard and behind me as a train. Nice if I want to have a goth wedding, not so nice if I want to wear this to a festival. I'm going to see if I can alter it myself, but $75.54 ($125.90 full price) is pretty steep for something that I have to alter in order to wear. I'm a bit between a size 2 and 3 depending on the fit (2 upper half, 3 lower half). I'm pretty sure this would be too tight in a size 2, since it's pretty fitted around the stomach and hips, but shoot is this thing long. Very pretty though. The material also feels pretty delicate. Wish me luck sewing this to be shorter!
