Favorite shorts
These are my perfect shorts. They’re cute, comfortable, and the pockets are so deep I can go totally bag and hands free when out and about with my toddler (fits phone, keys, her sippy cup, socks, snacks, and more). I love the material—other torrid active shorts are often really thick and constricting. These are thinner so much more comfortable but still supportive. I’ll buy them in all the colors.

I took an chance on these bike shorts because I’m picking. I ended up loving them. So soft and the pockets are deep and actually hold my phone! Love them!

We like pockets
Bought for my daughter. She loves them. They have pockets. Not all of Torrid's bike shorts do. Pockets stretch and you can fit a cellphone in them.

I absolutely LOVE these bike shorts, they're probably my best recent Torrid purchase and I shop here way too much. The fabric is pretty thick and they are sooo soft, like "buttery" soft leggings but they're a tiny bit more microfiber or like a super fine velvet feeling. I'm currently losing weight so I'm not really sure of my size anymore but I'm glad I went with a 2. I think that Torrid's size chart might be a bit off because my measurements line up with a size 1 but for most Torrid bottoms, I'm a solid size 2 right now and my old size 3 bottom still stay up. At other stores, I'm a size 14(W) so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm pear/hourglass shaped if that helps. I know that pictures are super helpful but I'm not feeling amazing about how my body looks right now, I'm still getting to used to it so I apologize. The waist fits well for now, they stay up but it could be a bit tighter. The fit in my hips and thighs is perfection, they are so comfortable! I'm not sure if a 1 would fit my hips and thighs as comfortably but I think I could possibly wear a size 1 in my waist. The stretch and compression level are great for me, I feel like they hold me in but not too tight and I think they smooth everything out a bit which is nice. I walk as my main form of exercise and these are perfect for walking, I can't speak on how they withstand other types of more strenuous exercise. The only thing I don't like about them is that the side pocket (I know I should never complain about a side pocket, they are so necessary for me since I wear leggings almost every day) the pocket is very deep, it goes all the way down to the hem of the shorts. When I put my phone in it, it slides down almost to my knee making reaching for it kinda annoying. Otherwise, I love these and Torrid please make full length and cropped leggings versions of these, I NEED them in my life because I'm required to wear pants for my job!

I love Torrids black biker shorts. As a girl who really appreciates genuine high rise shorts, they provide the tummy control I like. I bought these because of the others and was not expecting the material to be totally different. I was surprised in a good way. These are SOFT. They have almost a VELVET feel to them. They are super stretchy and don’t roll up on the thighs. They’re great for lounging or working from home. Due to the velvet feel though, I don’t know how well they’d hold up with sweat.
