Comfortable control
I absolutely love the Torrid Performance Line. These shorts give control, but not at the expense of comfort. The pockets hold my phone safely while I work out. They are less pink than I anticipated, but the dusty color is pretty.

I love these shorts. They are comfortable and most importantly have pockets, all bike shorts should be required to have pockets.

Finally Torrid has brought out a Active line that I really find supportive, functional fabric & fitted well. I actually haven't bought active in years from Torrid. Bottoms always slid down my curvy pear shape. The Super Soft line is a little less performance core and more of a medium compression. Styled more for Yoga n Pilates & not as supportive for jumping around. Though I really like this fabric as its easier to get on n off with my MS issues with my R hand. So they hold ya together like athletic wear without being super hard to get on n off. Also the closest to fit n comfort of another big name athletic wear (✔) that unfortunately I outgrew their largest available size. Fit is tts & so happy I didn't have to size up in biker shorts for a change. Cause the cotton biker shorts always cut into my thick thighs when sitting & always have to size up which makes them sit low in the crotch n length. And this going by the sizing according to Torrid sizing charts.

So incredibly buttery soft! These shorts also stay in place and don’t ride up or fall down. I would wear them every day if I could

These shorts definitely don’t smooth everything out like the original performance core and showed panty lines. For me they were not a flattering fit.
