After reading the reviews about how big these jeans shorts ran I decided to buy my true size (12) and to my surprise this was a great fit!
They are bigger than normal in the leg but that’s exactly what I was looking for.. 12 in the waist and baggy in the leg (thigh thighs save lives)

Very disappointed!
I ended up taking these shorts back because the fit is not like pictured at all. The legs are very baggy and it’s not like I have skinny legs. I ordered a size 12.

Poor fit, way too baggy
Bought these for vacation and super disappointed. I am 5'9, about 325lbs and usually a size 3/ US24 at Torrid. These fit a little snug on the waist but I carry all my weight in my stomach so I expected that. They are also a good length for me since I don't feel comfortable in really short shorts. BUUUT the legs are super baggy and it's very unflattering on me. There is absolutely no stretch and it's like the legs just go straight down from the bum area. My legs are NOT skinny and usually bermuda shorts are snug around my thighs but these are comically large! DO NOT GET THESE UNLESS YOU ARE VERY BOTTOM HEAVY & WANT LOOSE SHORTS!

Not for apples like me
These are nice but not for someone with a bigger middle and smaller thighs (size 20, 5’) The leg openings were very wide and the way they flared out on my thighs was not flattering at all. I should stick with the jeggings/lean jean style next time. I think they would look great on a different shape though, similar to the model.

This is cut weird.
Had this shipped to store because I knew I'd need to try it on. It is the same size I wear in the curvy capris and anticipated it to have the same jegging-like snugness but it didn't! They were weirdly baggy (and I promise I hadn't lost weight lol). Ended up picking up a pair of black fold-hem shorts a size down that fit really nicely! Also, they're twice as frayed as the picture shows and unfit for "casual Friday" at most workplaces.

Bought these because Torrid had been out of every other Bermuda short!! I'm sorry I did. They run way big and are baggy everywhere! Not a good fit unless you need a lot of room in the hips, legs and buttocks. Too big for me. I hope this helps!

Sizing way off! Huge!
I never leave reviews, but these were at least 2 sizes too big for me. Ordered usual size 14 and they fall off. So disappointing, poor quality control on these! Waste of money!

I bought these on clearance so I can’t return or exchange. Got a 16 but they felt 2 sizes too big. I also bought a pair of jeans that were a 16 and those fit great, so IDK.

Purposely bought these because the photo shows that the leg opening sits flush/snug to the thigh. Not at all how it actually fits. They run big which is fine but even sizing down isn't going to fix all of the extra room around the leg opening. They were SO baggy around my thighs, which was the exact opposite of what I was going for. I could probably fit both legs in one opening. They fit kind of like a baggy boyfriend jean would fit, but ya know, shorts. It wasn't a cute look, and they are definitely misrepresented in the photo.

Why did y'all ignore the midfit this year? I would have loved to get a raw edge like these or some color options like the distressed purple shorts. I already own the only two variety of midfit. Do better Torrid.

I ordered a size 10 and that is what was on the shorts label, but these shorts were 2 sizes or more bigger than that. This is the 2nd time this has happened with shorts I have ordered through Torrid.

I bought these online very hopeful they would be great. They were very strange and fit at the waist, but the legs were huge. There was no rolling the cuffs either, like I could fit two legs in one side. Maybe would work if you have a thicker thigh area, but unfortunately I had to return. Love the button fly and color though.
