Perfect for my June wedding. I bought it on a Black Friday sale for almost half the price! Super comfortable and I was able to add some of my own touches with the help of a seamstress. This was perfect for our casual backyard/ farm wedding.

Soft, comfortable
I’ve tried everything under the sun to lose weight the “right” way for the last 3 years. I can lift heavy, run marathons and chase after my youngest with ease, but I do so in a larger body. I tried on several other straight sized dresses and felt like a whale and horrible that I was into their largest size. I had a friend suggest Torrid and let me tell you—I am so glad I listened. I loved this dress. I felt confident and comfortable for the day I married my best friend. Body image issues stayed in check all day and I’ve never felt more beautiful. I paired it with a petticoat and a crystal belt from Amazon to complete the look. I ditched the petticoat for the reception because it was itchy, but the dress was not at all. The tulle is soft and so is the liner. It’s a beautiful, versatile dress. I am 5’4” and 240 lbs. I got the size 16.

My Wedding Dress
This was my wedding dress. I LOVED IT!!! It was so flattering for my body, I loved the material and so comfortable.It’s beautifully made, you’d think I had gotten it in a bridal shop. Everyone loved my dress!!

Girl. Buy the dress!
I bought this dress on a whim, thinking I wasn't going to like it. I was dreading going dress shopping at an actual store that sells the fancy dresses. This jewel came in and I immediately fell in love. I wear a size 20 in jeans, 3 or 4 in shirts, and usually a 22-24 in dresses. I ordered the 22 and the fit was PERFECT. I added a cheap petticoat underneath just to give it a little more fluff. I also added a belt to give it a little color but it is still gorgeous by itself. This dress is high quality and so comfortable!

Great fit!
I was amazed how well this dress fits! I normally wear a size 3 in dresses, size 4 tshirt, a size 26 in jeggings, a 24 in bombshell skinny jeans, and a 4 in leggings. I bought the size 26 and it really fits perfectly. I have large upper arms and a smaller bust (46DD) compared to my larger waist and hip measurements and this dress is forgiving enough that still fit really well without being really tight or loose anywhere. The stretch lace on the arms means that someone with smaller arms would be able to wear it and it would look just as good. I am particularly impressed with the neckline. I was concerned and getting a size 26 the neckline would be too wide for my shoulders, but it works really well for me and I could see it still fitting appropriately for someone who shoulders were a little more narrow, or a little more wide than mine, I am 5’8” and without heels, it hits at a true tea length. The zipper is a hidden zipper, which looks flawless on the back. In recent years, I’ve been disappointed with the quality of many of Torrid's clothing items. They tend to not feel poorly constructed, but this dress truly feels like it’s very well-made. The only thing I would want to mention is that the dress is heavy I feel like it would be very breathable, and when you put it on, it moves as though it’s a lighter material or fabric but when you hold it on the hanger, there’s definitely some weight to the garment. I appreciate that the dress came on a flocked white hanger and with a protective white garment bag. Overall, there’s nothing I would change with the style or design! I wish Torrid would offer beaded or jeweled, sashes and belts to coordinate with the wedding line as it’s difficult to get an exact color match for a ribbon, and finding something proportional in a plus size that would fit nicely across the front of the dress is proving to be a bit of a challenge.

Beautiful beautiful dress! I even love the material and the way it fits on my curves! Unfortunately I’ve only wore this once but not as a wedding dress! Who know if I’ll wear it again. I’d probably need to work on my back because there is no stretch in the body of the dress!

Perfect for me
I wore this dress for my wedding last week and it was perfect. It was comfortable and flattering and exactly right for our small ceremony.
I ended up needing a smaller size than my initial purchase so the size guide isn't totally accurate, but I received both orders super fast and returning the original was no problem.

I did end up adding a petticoat underneath and my own belt to match my bridesmaids I’m disabled and I needed a dress that allowed me to not feel constricted and so I would trip on it.

THANK YOU TORRID!!!
I bought this dress about 7 or 8 months before my wedding. I didn't even know Torrid had these! I got it on sale and was able to use rewards, so for the price I paid, I truly was expecting something awful. However... there was a picture of a heavier model that originally is what caught my eye, not the current pic, and then the review pics!!! What!!! Ladies!!! First try, first dress, no needing to go to an awful bridal shop to be made to feel awful... IT FIT LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR ME!!! My very hard to fit arms were wrapped in stretchy beautiful lace, my not ginormous boobs that are usually too small for plus sized dresses were properly held, and my lumps and bumps disappeared under layers of flattering quality lace and tulle.
TORRID has saved me so many times, but I never thought they'd come thru for me for my wedding.
I felt adorable, I got so many compliments, and the best part of it all was I was comfortable!!

Beautiful dress
I wore this dress with a pair of ivory slouched heel boots from Torrid also for my wedding in February. We were knee deep in snow but this dress looked fabulous. I am an hour glass figure, very large in the chest and behind, it was perfect for my silhouette. I also got a fluffy white crop jacket that just added some winter flair. The material is thick and durable. I love it, no regrets. Some people were all “don’t you want a long gown” I almost switched up and just so glad I didn’t and stuck with this. It was also way under my budget and that gave me more room to splurge on florals.

Perfect dress
I bought this dress for my wedding in Sept of 2022 and I’m so glad I did. It was perfect. I wear a street size 22 so I went up to a 24 knowing formal wear usually runs small. That’s also what their measurements pegged me at. It fit perfect.

I bought this a month befor my wedding. Great dress only issues was the zipper, it would get stuck half way, other than that very comfortable,and elegant for a perfect day. I'm normally a size 20/ 3x but opted in getting size 24 it fit great.

The Dress
From the moment I first took this out of its box, I fell in love with it. This was the perfect consecration dress! I love the lace, the softness and stretch, and how it hid all the places I am most self-conscious about. As a bride of Christ, I needed something modest as well and this was perfect. I am 5'2" so this dress was longer on me, but that's exactly how I wanted it. As all the other reviewers have encouraged, this could be your dress, too!
