I was apprehensive about purchasing this tee shirt. That is due to KWANZAA itself. Love the graphic but It would be better if focused on black pride altogether. It is soft and fits well.

Love ❤️ it and love torrid for having cultural apparel especially in plus sizes that can be hard to find. The shirt fit perfectly and washes well. I received many compliments at a Kwanzaa event because everyone wanted to know where I got it. Keep them coming and I will keep buying.

Love this! Thank you Torrid for Culturally relevant t-shirts! While I agree to make sure you have the right voices consulting on your choices, you've been on point in my opinion!
This one is no different than the popular and prevalent Black woman "word cloud" tees with powerful adjectives in the hair all over the market. Those tees have words like "confident" "smart" "queen in the hair. Why not list the Kwanzaa principles? I bought this for myself and a girls group I mentor. Anyway, from the Maya Angelou collection from last year ... to my A Tribe Called Quest t-shirt from earlier this year, I'm glad to be able to find tees reflecting topics important to me.

Nice t-shirt oversll. I wish that the sleeves were a tad bit longer. T-shirt is more fitted than expected. Definitely size up if you're interested in a loser fit. I normally wear a 2 and should have at least ordered a 3 for a comfortable fit and a 4 for a loose fit. Since it's final sale, my BFF will get the benefit of me ordering the wrong size.

Missed the mark
DEFINITELY missed the mark with this shirt. The Kwanzaa principles written in an afro? And titled it "Kwanzaa Girl"?! It's ok to not do anything when it comes cultural celebrations. May I recommend adding folks to the rooms where these decisions are made that would question a shirt like this?
