Outside of the embellishments, these are totally sheer. But, the fit is super comfortable and snug. There is no roll down issue and are superbly made. The material is VERY soft and breathable. The back is open (no pics allowed) at the bottom half of the bum. Torrid advertises open back panties, but the back of these provide a little more coverage than most Torrid “open back/open bum” panties.
Butt (lol), you’re on the fence, go for it; The reaction ALONE is well worth the purchase…we almost missed our reservation. Get the set…can’t miss!!

I got these on a whim because I wanted something sexy, despite not being someone who normally wears underwear "over the belly." I loved the idea of it being an open bum while still having a gusset, so that it was more of a "peek-a-boo" look. I was so sure these would fit weird on me, and while I do have a minor complaint about the gusset not being wide enough -- another thing Torrid miserably fails at for larger sizes, unfortunately! -- the overall fit is great, and it is SO. GORGEOUS. Truly could not stop looking at how cute I looked in the mirror with these on! Looking forward to seeing what my partner thinks as well, but either way, they've made me incredibly happy!

I agree with the other reviewer, they are not a true open gusset panty. However, they are cute, comfortable and true to size. I normally wear a 2 and that's the size that I purchased. There is some stretch, but not a crazy amount. And I feel that these are a true high waisted panty. Sometimes they don't come up as far as I like, but these are perfect!
