Comfortable soal
Finally had a rainy day! Long gusset & full rubber boot kept my feet dry. The soal is soft & the boot is not too heavy. My calf is 18inches. I have plenty of space to tuck pants into ankle of boot. I have a medium width foot. I do not find these too wide for me.

Perfect fit
I love these rain boots! I ordered my normal size 9 and they feel great! I can also wear these with thick socks to keep warm when the weather gets cooler :) they are easy to slip on and off for boots-that’s very important to me after being outside in the elements. We still haven’t had any rain and it won’t get cold for some time, but I’ll be prepared 👍🏻

Perfect ankle boot!
I love the look of ankle boots on other people, but with my chunky calves/ankles, I could never get the casual, slouchy look I loved on others… Until I met these little guys! Never expected that a rainboot would be where I’d find the look I wanted, but here we are! Even laced up and tied—and with thin socks on—I can slip these boots on without untying them. It’s been too warm to try it out, but I know they’re going to look cute this fall with slouchy/chunky socks. Admittedly, the larger, looser ankle makes me question how effective these would actually be for keeping my feet dry in the rain… But they’re honestly so cute and comfortable that I’m calling them a win even if I find out later they don’t fulfil their intended function. I got the red and am heading back for the black. I’m normally an 8.5 in Torrid footwear; I sized up to the 9 since I knew I’d want to wear these with thicker socks this fall and they’re perfect for that.

Fit is great!
If you have wide feet and/or larger ankles buy these!!! I have never been able to find rain boots that fit my width and ankles or calves and these fit perfect with room for socks and are so comfy and flexible! Love them bought the black to start and came back to get the red ones! Run true to size I’m usually an 8 or 9 in torrid shoes and usually a 9 in other shoe brands and the 9 was perfect! Width is good ankle size is good and comfortable! The lace up part that gives it a tongue of the shoe doesn’t pull out like a regular boot would so it will keep it dry in there everything is sealed around the ankle like a regular rain boot would be. I hope Torrid makes these in some fun patterns and more colors soon!

Note to Self. . . .
Okay, the color of these boots is described as "rhubarb," but they're red, red, red in the picture. I can't actually complain that they're kind of a purply=pink (hey, the color of rhubarb!), but here I go. I wanted RED. Red is fun, but purply-pink looks like you're trying too hard (if you're my age. . .you young cuties look great). And sure, they'll keep your feet dry as you slog through puddles, but if it's still raining, no they will not. This is my second pair of Torrid rain boots, and the other pair is the same. They catch and funnel the rain onto your feet. However, the other pair is terribly cute. I get compliments aplenty, and these will probably be the same. I just wish they were red.

Great, but...
I love them but I guess my ankles are not big enough. Will keep and hopefully my jeans will fill in the gap in the front. True to size.

Cute but disappointed
Love the color disappointed with the quality. They look worn and used and slappes together. Paid too much money for this type of look. I normally wear 8.5 but the only in-stock size was a 9. The 9 fits perfectly so size up. They are Comfortable too and cute

Weird
These are highly weird… they are super floppy and remind me too much or soft rubber if that makes sense. Another reviewing said they have a huge opening… they really do, I was like what the? The rain will get into that opening and flood the shoe!

Not Effective in Rain
Bought these in black and I have no idea how they will actually keep my feet dry during rainy days. The opening around the ankle is so incredibly wide, and though there is a tightenting strap with buckle on the outside of the ankle, it is mostly decorative and not truly functional. The soles are super flimsy so I can't imagine that these might be comfortable to wear for a full day of mostly standing and walking at work. The look is cute, but I bought these for rainy days at work, and I just don't think they are going to cut it.

Not a good fit
I bought these a few weeks ago bc I was in need of boots due to the weather in the area I live in.I thought they were cute in color and style , I purchased several sizes bigger than what I wear because my feet and ankles swell and boots can run narrow. They are a really cute show but when I tried them on I could barely fit into them .I thought that because they were lace ups they would give some room in the front, but the rubber does not move and is fixed to the sides of the boot.
