Just buy them!
These boots are fantastic! They fit well, and I’ve gotten so many compliments every time I wear them. Only con is if you have fur babies, you’ll definitely need a lint roller before going out- pet hair lives to stick to the velvet fabric.

I have searched everywhere for a pair of black extra-wide calf, knee-high, lace-up boots. I finally found the PERFECT pair. Not only are they super cute and comfortable but they are also easy to wipe off and keep clean. If you are like me and have trouble finding a pair of knee-high boots that are extra wide calf these are the perfect pair for you. The fact that you can unzip them all the way and the laces are adjustable makes for a perfect fit.

Wow! These boots are luxuriously soft velvet! They look posh and it's great that you can adjust the tightness of the boot laces for your individual leg and foot. I am really into the soft cushion at the back top of the boot as it makes sitting in these comfortable for the backs of my legs. No jabbing from a stiff boot cuff.

Awesome Boots
Overall, I really do like the boots. They are cute and very comfortable. My only "complaint" would be the tongue. It slides down a lot, even when the laces are put through the slit in the tongue.

Beautiful but wide calves
This was an online purchase, which I was weary of doing.
The packaging was good. The top of the box was dinged up pretty good but the boots were wrapped in paper, with more inside the boots to help them keep their shape.
The velvet material was so luscious. I ran my fingers across it several times. The nickel buckles were wrapped in additional tissue paper to protect them, a nice touch. The zippers on the instep on the boot were black, and hard to spot against the black velvet.
When I put the boots on, they fit me perfectly. The insoles were soft and rubber boot soles gave a good grip to my hardwood floors without feeling heavy or awkward.
When I zipped the boots up however, there was far too much room in the calves for me. These boots come in two calf sizes and I had picked the smaller of the two, but I could fit my whole fist in between the boot and my calf.
Ultimately I returned the boots because of the calves. My legs were just too skinny for them to fit right. Because I bought them online with PayPal, I had to return them to a physical store. Thankfully there was one about 30 minutes away. The process was simple, I provided my cell number and within a few minutes I had the money returned to my account.
My best advice, MEASURE YOUR CALVES before buying. If that had fit better I would have kept these boots and loved them.
