Bought these pants to wear to work and happy they actually reimbursed me for them. Just wish they had regular in stock, they only had tall in my size so they long but I can hem them.

I got the black pair - they are very comfortable! I think "slim boot" is misleading because these feel wider than regular boot fit. I wear them for work slacks, so the cut is fine, but just be aware.

I. LOVE. THESE. JEANS. I’m just out on the skinny jeans lately and think the flare on these give off a slimmer look. The flare is perfect with heels, sandals and have a slightly dressier feel. Definitely not too wide in the leg and a must have for me. (I bought 2 pairs and am waiting on the darker wash that’s coming for fall).

Ever since the pandemic I've been living in leggings and comfy pants. I tried on jeans I had and they were unbearable to wear. I decided to try these on a whim and I'm in love. I can actually tolerate wearing these all day! They've got a nice amount of stretch and I like the lightweight denim. The slim boot silhouette is cute and trendy as well. True to size fit, not too tight on my thick thighs, but fit nicely to be flattering. I prefer the mid-rise as well (please make more mid-rise instead of high rise!).

Fix the stinky stank
Torrid needs to figure out a new dye. This has been and ongoing issue for years. I finally broke down bc I wanted good black jeans and I’m on the 4th wash with odor removing rinse…by the time the stench of the dye is gone, my awesome new black jeans will be faded.

Ok fit
The color isn’t black, it’s a charcoal black. Lighter than normal black. They hold up in the wash. The problem is around the waist. I am in a in between sizes. I sized up and I need a belt. I lost 30lbs, so I should have sized down.

Different quality
Finally wore out my last pair of these from a few years back, and bought two more. The new ones have a very heavy dye smell, and they seem to run a bit larger than normal. I usually buy size 14s, but I feel the 12s would be a better fit. They'll work, but I wish the old style and quality were back.
At least the pockets are still the same.
