I had to return it
Completely love this dress. The outer fabric is so nice and cool. But it has the heavy hot polyester fabric inside. So it had to go back. Not for summer.

I feel so good in this!
I love this dress! The color isn’t as vibrant as the photo, the color is more terracotta on my chocolate skin and I get many compliments! I wear a 42DD and the top portion fits great. I don’t feel the need to adjust if anything. I’m 5’9, size 3 and bottom curvy. The bottom hem stops right above my ankles as I pull the dress straps all the way. It’s lined inside with a thicker fabric so it’s not see through. I would recommend giving it a try!

Pretty dress
I wasn't too sure about this dress when ordering but I really liked the crotchet and style. So I gave it a try and ended up loving it! The color is a bit different than online but not a lot different. I got my normal size. Flattering on my apple shape body. Doesn't give a pregnant look. Got lots of compliments.

Comfy Dress but Poly Line
Great dress. I love the crochet detail and that it covers my cleavage. The color is as it appears in the pictures. The fit and length is perfect for me at 5'5. Since it hits right above my ankles, I can wear this with flats. It is lined to about the knees, but with a polyester like fabric which isn't practical for the summer. There is plenty of room in the bodice, but I do not believe it is intended to be snug. 256 42DDD

Fits perfectly! LOVE IT!
I buy too many clothes from Torrid haha, but this one is a standout. It flatters my body SO well. The color is nice, exactly how it appeared on my monitor. I have a really big chest, and most things don't look good - this does, AND has a high enough neck to cover my bra/cleavage line without making me feel suffocated. If there were other colours, I would buy all of them.

Better for fall than summ
I agree with others here that this dress is heavier than I expected, however I do really like it. It will be awesome in the fall, even though I was hoping to wear it in the summer.
My problem is the crochet detail towards the bottom of the dress. While I like the way it looks, I’m really prone to stepping in maxi dresses. I accidentally stepped on the hem when I was going up a step and it tore the crochet bit instantly.
I do still like it and will continue to wear it but I will have to be more cautious. If you’re clumsy like me, just beware the delicate crochet at the bottom!

Polyester lining
If you are looking for a nice breathable cotton dress to keep cool in warm weather, you might want to pass on this one. While the outer dress is 100% cotton, the full sewn in lining is 100% POLYESTER (and as of this review, that fact is not included in the listed details). The polyester lining makes this dress uncomfortably warm to be worn in summer weather. If you don’t mind sweating more than necessary just to look cute in the heat, then this dress is fairly nice.

Disappointing
I wasn't thrilled about the color, but I bought this dress because the style looked like it would have plenty of boob room and not be too low cut. First off, I don't know what is up with these weird wide, huge waist bands that torrid is putting on dresses, but they need to stop. I have to size up to 1 to have enough bust space, but I need the waist of a 0. Most of the time, this is fine as dresses are either belted or have a sufficient cinched/stretchy waist that comes in on me. This one has to be at least 37", unstretched, and it's so thick and heavy, that belting it doesn't really work, so it hangs all loose and weird on my waist. I also wasn't a huge fan of the material or the unnecessary polyester liner. Returned. Had it been a nicer color, I might have kept it and tried to make it work or ordered a 0, I really do like the neckline.

I wanted to love it
I got this dress a couple of days ago. I usually love Torrid clothes, but this is a miss for me. The color is too orange and I ordered in my usual size 2 and it is huge.

Very orangey in person. Looks like a soft neutral tan but is a bright almost russet color.
Pretty dress but the color is not expected so sadly it will be going back.
