This is my first review on Torrid. I love Torrid clothes. As a large woman, it is the only site that has super cute and stylish clothes that fit me rightly. This dress is my go to! I love it. The material, the way it hangs, the fit, the colors (blues, mustard yellows, sage green flowers). It looks great with any style of footwear; to dress it up or casual. I would buy this dress in a multitude of colors.

This is a beautiful dress and well made. I have it in yellow. It is fully lined. I received a lot of compliments because this dress fits well. The only downside is that since it is fully lined, it is hot. It will be nice to wear in the spring when the temperatures are lower, but not on a hot day in August.

For the price of $17 I can't be too critical. But sadly the lining of this dress is too heavy and hot for summer. However, with a pair of brown high heel boots and a trench coat for winter. I think I can make it work.

The dress is very comfortable.The fabric has a nice weight to it and seems well made. Super cute on. I like that it has a built in slip/lining. I LOVE the faux wrap so you don’t have to worry about it gaping open. It’s also nice to be able to find a dress with sleeves!

Great dress
I bought this one in yellow to add a pop of color to my closet and I absolutely LOVE it!! I was afraid it was going to be too long considering I’m only 5’1 but it lands a little above my ankles which I can really appreciate. It’s a little on the heavier side but it only means it’ll last a very long time!

Love it so comfortable. The fabric is heavy so it flows and bounces so beautifully! The sleeves are super flattering and it has pockets. Also because the waist is elastic and “pre wrapped” there’s no chance of sliding open or dealing with having to tie a super tight string around your waist.

Cute, but didn't work
I was so happy to get such a cute looking dress on clearance no less! This sadly did not fit my body at all. The midline cut into my bust and the pockets made the dress flare in a funny way. Also, even though the dress was flowy it hung to my belly and make it look bad.

This dress is definitely cute but man, the double lining makes it sooo heavy! It has a white underdress that weighs it down. It also sits like a box on me. Wish the string in the front pulled in the waist but it doesn’t.

nice cut, awful pattern
I liked the cut of this dress, the pattern is just awful though. I swear my grandmother had a couch in the same print in the 1980s. On the screen, it looked like blush and lavender flowers, nope. What I received was blue and a tannish color. I returned it.

Terrible Fit
This dress is the worst fitting dress I’ve bought from Torrid. The waist line does not even go under my bust!! I will attach a photo where I tried to pull it as low as it would go. It still didn’t look right and obviously will move around throughout the day and go up even higher. It is not flattering on my figure and it makes me look bigger. I’m so sad I got this as a final sale product and can’t return it.

Runs larger than normal. This is really a pretty dress but unfortunately the cut is very strange. I usually wear a 2 but this one runs so large in the waist I think I would have had a better fit sizing down. However the bodice is so short that sizing down would have put elastic waist band on the bottom of my bust, and that would have been worse. I looked terrible in this particular piece. Much larger than I actually am. Very frumpy and matronly. I would never wear this in public but since it’s not returnable I will wear it as a house dress I guess. Nice fabric and cute print. Heavy dress! That big liner is just too much.
