Love the pockets

Great casual dress
I have 2 colors in this dress. Comfortable and flattering. I am between size 2&3, and I went with 3. Has a nice shape without being overly clingy. Longer length, but side slit keeps it looking cute. Nice open neckline.

For those who are wondering if Torrid dresses are stretchy! 33 weeks pregnant, ordered this dress as I figured I could wear it next summer, turns out it fits anyways! Love love love.

Easy dress to wear
The dress is very soft and easy to wear and look like you put more effort in than you did. It has slits as well which keep you cooler and also make it not as big on me. I will say, I have a big chest (42g) and the dress definitely fits me different than the photos on here. I have less bagginess on the top half like they show in the photos. It’s still really comfy and worth the purchase. If I sized up, it would definitely be too big. I have washed it a few times and it seems to come out good - I haven’t dried it though. I think it’s the same fabric as torrid tshirts which definitely pill up after washing and drying.
I’m short 5’4 and midi and long dresses can look frumpy on me, but this one looks great!

Nice dress but hugs tummy
I received this dress today and actually bought it in a few colors because it looked so promising and perfect for work. Unfortunately I’ll be returning them all. I’m a size 14/16 (usually a Torrid 0 in tshirts, 1 in dresses and tops, 16 on the bottom) and I ordered this dress in a 1.
The top fits fine and is even a little loose, the elastic sits at the natural waist (I’d actually prefer it a bit higher as it doesn’t hit my narrowest point) and the part right around the lower tummy is VERY accentuated. It’s almost like a stretchy mermaid fit if that makes sense? It’s so cute otherwise, I will try on a 2 at the store when I return if I see one but I think it will be too big up top. Too bad because I really wanted this one to work!

Looks nice, awful quality
I bought this dress on 10/13 and wore it once on 10/17, and it ripped right above the elastic waist. It started at the elastic band at the waist and then went about six inches across; I was sitting down, pulled at the material above the waist before I stood up and it just tore immediately. The quality on Torrid clothing has been going downhill for years, but this might be the last straw for me. I'd say you get what you pay for, but honestly I paid too much for something like this to happen upon the first wear.
