Fantastic dress!
I absolutely love this dress. Not sure what other reviewers are talking about saying the fabric is weird/not stretchy and the cut is unflattering… it’s like they got a different dress! The fabric is a lightweight ponte with good stretch in all directions— not see-through and doesn’t show lumps/bumps. The pockets lay flat and are spacious. When zipped all the way up, no cleavage shows, but you can unzip a bit to show it off. I’m 5’8” and this comes well past my knees, definitely a midi length but not maxi. I’m usually a size 1-2 and I ordered a 2, and it fits gorgeously. The tag calls this “Nightfall by Torrid,” but that collection doesn’t come up when typed into the search bar. (I also got a skirt with a similar tag.) It’s a great collection for us goth babes!

I totally love this dress… very pretty, love the corset ties and the collar I turned down and liked it a lot better… had to have it hemmed because I’m 5’1 but other than that I’m in love with this dress:)

Dress Thoughts
This dress is beautiful. The grommets seem very secure and the laces seem as they should not fray.
The ponte fabric really is NOT so stretchy, I went with my usual size 3 but note there is not much give as I personally have found with ponte fabric. The pockets on this dress I could of done without. The sleeves and length are perfect for me on my 5ft 7in long torso. If you are shorter this might be long in the length for you, pending what look you desire.
My gripes- I am NOT a fan of the collar AT all. It really bothers my neck. I turned it under however I will likely remove it.
For me, the gathering under the breasts is a bit annoying and itchy in the interior. I will wear a V neck cami under this to rectify that issue.
I always launder my clothing before wearing. It has a tag noting possible dye transfer.
The BIG gripe is on the care tag at the very end it says DRY CLEAN for best results, which is not mentioned in the description online.
From personal experience, if you launder this fabric it will shrink and fade out.
I am taking it to dry cleaner, however I am hoping it does not shrink this or fade it out.
I seriously dislike dry cleaning but I fear if I launder this dress, this it will not fit afterwards.
Buyer be aware of how you choose your sizing and how you plan to care for this dress.
Minus 1 star for my gripes.

Unflattering waistline!
Incredibly heavy and very unflattering waistline. The fabric felt rubbery and hot. Other than that, I liked the design, but it looked so bad from the side and felt weird, so back it goes.
