Perfect summer dress
I love this dress! I wanted a white dress in my collection to prove I'm a grownup who can handle the color now, lol. It looks great on me and was cool even in the extreme heat of a Florida summer day when I had to be outside without shade for several hours. Great length, great movement when I walk or twirl and great design. I'd wear it more often if I didn't work with grubby kids!

Beautiful Dress
I brought this dress in the black and white and it was beautiful. The length was perfect, right at my knee. The sleeves were not too tight and I rolled them up as I wore it in late August for a party. The fitted waist and slightly flowy skirt was the right balance of structure and movement. The dress was true to size and my usual 2 was great. I even brought the solid black dress as well.

Beautiful but not for me
It is a beautiful dress and I love the color. However, the dress is too hot for me to wear in the summer so I am returning it. I also was not a fan of where the neckline hit my body. Good for someone else but, not for me.

So comfortable
I got an email asking me to review this the very first day I wore it. It is such a great spring dress! Very comfortable and one of the nicest made pieces I've bought from Torrid in awhile. It is lined through the body so it isn't see-through. I've already had two compliments today. It's not as boxy as trapeze cut and flattering on most body types.

I purchased this dress for my upcoming 50th birthday get away weekend with my husband. I am not a typical dress girl, I often feel uncomfortable in a dress. I am shorter, with a larger chest and no butt, so my proportions make it harder for me to find a dress that I like on me. This dress however is exactly what I was looking for to wear to a fancier dinner date. The material is not a heavy weight but still keeps its shape. I feel it will look cute with heels or sandals, and can go from day to night with little effort, a change of shoes and accessories! The sleeves are darling, and the color is beautiful. It is lined, so there are no worries for any peek-a-boo moments through the eyelet. I am completely comfortable in this dress and am sure to wear it whenever the occasion calls! The fit seems to be true to size, I vary between a 2-3 in Torrid clothes, as I can wear anywhere from a 16 - 22 depending on the style. I originally ordered a size 3 to be sure I had room as it is not a stretchy material, but it was too large so I took it back to my local store and sized down. It is a perfect fit. For reference I am 42 DD, 5'4"

I bought this dress a month ago in the mauve color. Very pretty and soft. Unfortunately because of the reviews I sized up and I probably should have sized down. I'll need to get it altered, probably by 2 sizes.

Stop it. I cannot even with this dress! This dress is absolutely fabulous! I do wish there were more colors to choose from however this dress is stunning. I was semi hesitant. I ordered it for a wedding I was going to. I was in one of those moments where I ordered every dress I could find and just figured I’d return what didn’t work. This gem came in, I tried it on and died! I’m 5’6 and 279. I’m apple shaped so I semi worried what this shape would look like on me but it’s beautiful and it’s super slimming. I love the sleeves. Hides my imperfections on my arms and wore some super cute Torrid wedges that were semi high making my legs look longer. Winner. Game changer. We need more dresses like this!!!! While a line and skater dresses are super cute. Not every chubby girl wants to appear pregnant or the possibility of being. Sometimes, some of Torrid’s cute shirts and cute dresses make me look like I’m semi expecting. It’s nice to have something so cute and fun and not worry about looking preggy on top of being chubby already! This is a win!

Loved this dress when I first tried it on, but when I first washed it as the instructions stated, it shrunk in and up! I will have to shorten the lining as it hangs out the bottom, and will probably have to wear with tights now , so disappointed as it really was beautiful, and I loved the fit. The challis does not hold up well to machine wash.

Maybe its for tall gals?
I was sooooooo excited when I saw this. I LOVE the color, love the bell sleeves, love the neckline, love the eyelets… but this ended up being simultaneously too big and too small. I’m 5ft tall and apple shaped. It was too tight (and has no stretch) in the belly and too big in the shoulders. The shoulder seams are down on my arm, it didn’t work well with my large chest… it just was not cute in any way. The color is great. All I can guess is this would be great for tall and smaller busted gals?
