Great for formal event
I was going to wear this dress for my husband’s birthday dinner in Reno but it was too modest for the vibe so returned it. It’s would be a great option for work trip, interview, or court.

I LOVE this dress. I wore it with some beige booties and felt soooo beautiful. It was very flattering on me. I had been waiting for it to go on sale and it didn’t disappoint. I bought it in black too and I can’t wait to wear both all year round. Sooo happy with my purchase.

PERFECT DRESS
This pleated dress is beautiful and gives a great shape! I will say the cuffs are a little small, but it worked for me because I have smaller wrists. The length is perfection as well.

This dress is very beautiful and flattering. It is not form fitting but when you cinch the waist with the included tie (or use a belt) it looks great. I like that it doesnt have an elastic waist as this looks a little nicer and sometimes the elastic band creates an unflattering line at your back. So glad I purchased this dress!

Adorable dress!
I really love this dress! I purchased the green color, which felt more festive than my usual black dress but not overly showy. I am short and apple shaped; when the belt is tied, it gave me the illusion of a waist. The fabric is flowy and not itchy at all. I usually avoid a puff sleeve because they are usually too broad and fall down my arm to a weird spot, but these puffs sit perfectly on my shoulder.
This dress is machine washable! The tag says it can go in the dryer; I opted to line dry it. It looks great after laundering.
My only con is the wrist part of the sleeve is very tight, so you have to undo at least some of the buttons to put it on. The buttons are tricky to get re-buttoned so make sure you have another set of hands available!

I bought this in green for holiday photos and parties. I love it! Stylish, flowy, and shapely. Excited to have a dress that I feel great in after having a baby. I didn’t wear stockings so maybe that is why I didn’t have static issues.

This dress is lovely. Flattering and conservative for work Christmas functions or to wear to church. I am self-conscious about my back shape and it lays nicely to where it doesn't hug in places. It is very staticy so hopefully I can steam it to help. I love the dark green color. I have it in the Betsie Blue as well.

This dress color is so beautiful. Love the length and the way it flows. The biggest downfall of this dress is the buttons on the sleeves at the wrist. 3 tiny buttons on each wrist that are nearly impossible to get fastened (you’ll need help buttoning when wearing the dress) and the wrist has no stretch when buttoned so you can put it on without unbuttoning the buttons…the struggle was real. Still a beautiful dress!

Other reviews mention that the pleats are more folds than anything, that the hand openings are small, and that it's staticky. All of these are true, but regardless I find it to be a cute dress. Torrid isn't known for their exceptional quality, but I'm happy to find pieces that flatter me.

I am a pear shape with B bust, carry most of my weight in the middle. I bought a 1 (5'7 220) and it fit great. The cuffs are super tight but the button are elastic so a little stretch. The pockets are great addition. Skirt reaches above my knees, not too short for me. I will keep it for the upcoming holidays
