So pretty and comfortable. Fit perfectly. Pretty, shimmery and fancy enough for a New Year's Eve dinner out but comfortable and full-coverage enough to keep me comfy and warm. Paired w/ fleece leggings and Doc Martens (and a bold lip), I felt awesome in this dress.

Purchased this on a whim in store. Came to the counter with other items and saw this gem on the rack. I love the subtle sparkle of the metallic thread. High necks are fun, and its sheer sleeves are still just dark enough to wear to work and be comfortable. The length on me is just a bit above my knees, 5'8 for reference, and it has pockets!!!

-apple shaped with all of my weight in my torso…thin arms and legs, no defined waist, no hips, little to no butt
The “rainbow” color is indicative of the rainbow effect on an oil sheen. I don’t know how else to describe it. Lol. Not sure how the color is on the clip dots but it’s like a subdued sparkle/glimmer effect. Pretty without being overwhelming, imo.
Because I bought a somewhat similar dress (blue, clip dot, “boot dress”) in the past I decided to size down to a 0. I’m glad I did. For me it was perfect. A size 1 would have worked as well, but it wouldn’t have been as fitted.
At 5’6 it came down to right above my knee. I think I’m going to have it altered to look more like it does on the model, but the length is as described. It’s totally lined with the exception of the neck and sleeves. The neck is “smocked”/completely elasticized and is stretchy. That being said, it isn’t in any way baggy.
As an apple Torrid has a lot of dress styles that are less than flattering for my shape. Imo this is not one of them. The smocked/elasticized waist coupled with the pocket placement and material actually makes it look like I have a waist!
ALL of that being said…lol...I like this dress and would recommend it.
