Awesome Dress 😍
This is my first sleeve dress and I love it so much. The foxy fabrics is amazing and highlights my body so well and it’s soft. Love the star design as well. Perfect length for me. Will be wearing this dress for nights out and also fall/winter outings

Skater in Perfect Fabric
Great dress! I have a good dozen Torrid Skater dresses, and this is the best one. Cotton-lycra jersey is a comfortable, durable fabric that doesn’t bag out as the day passes and is super machine-washable without risking holes the way (alas) rayon jersey is. It skims the body instead of clinging while still being flowy enough. The elbow sleeves are a perfect length for every season, including hot summer, since it’s cotton, not polyester. I’m 5”1 and it hits me at the knee, and for once, my 38G boobs don’t mean it’s an automatic Empire waist on me. The waistline actually sits nearer my waist. If I have one complaint about Torrid’s Skater block, it’s built for small boobs (and small includes D and DD) so anyone who isn’t as petitely boob’ed as the block ends up with a dress that rides up, since a bigger hill needs more fabric to cover it. But the 5% lycra in this jersey fixes that problem.
Just as an FYI, manufacturing always requires sizing (a fabric stiffener) during construction, especially with jersey fabrics because they stretch and curl. So any cotton jersey is likely to feel a bit stiff coming out of the package/off the hanger. Try it on for fit, but if it fits, wash it before wearing. You don’t want sizing on your skin, and you do want the garment to flow properly.
Glad I bought both colors, because these went FAST. Please restock!

I love this dress so much! I ordered the star pattern one, received it and was impressed, and then immediately ordered this one. It fits so well with material that holds its shape and also has some stretch. I love how it feels and how it looks on me. I would definitely buy more of this style in other patterns. It’s cute paired with leggings and boots.

Great fall dress
It's my first purchase of the "foxy" material. No wonder I have read glowing reviews! It has great structure, and a little stretch. I'm 5'2'' and carry by weight in my abdomen, and this dress flows nicely over everything! The elbow length sleeves make it a great choice for fall, as does the blue and black print! I find it true to size

Love this - want more!
The star print arrived in the mail today and i immediately tried it on - love it!!! It’s not their super soft material so while it has some stretch, it doesn’t have too much stretch. I think it will hold its shape. I’m 5’10 so this does hit above my knees. I like this length to pair with leggings. I feel it’s true to size if not slightly tight, but just slightly. I’m back on here to get the flower version now.

Size up with big arms
Love this dress. It’s stretchy but gives a lot of support. It’s a thicker material so it’s great for fall. I have big arms and the material rides up and cuts into my arms. I wear a 2 and wish I had gotten a 3 for this reason. Otherwise it’s wonderful. I got both colors.

I am in between sizes 1 and 2. 5 Ft 8. 250 lbs. 48-40-48. bra 42D. Carry weight in the midsection/thighs. In the "skater" type dress that drape and have spandex I order a 1. The arms are fitted- but it does stretch. Great flow mid section coverage.

The print for this dress is cute but the material is stiff and uncomfortable. Wish they would’ve made this with the super soft fabric. So disappointed!
