I saw this dress and instantly fell in love with it and KNEW I HAD TO HAVE IT!! Luckily for me it was on sale so I worked a few extra hours to be able to buy it for myself! I can’t wait to finally wear it! It’s absolutely stunning! 🤩 But on some real talk I’m extremely upset that I missed out on the pink dress because I’m obsessed with pink! PLEASE bring it back Torrid, along with other colors like fuchsia and red and maybe even a dark blue or sapphire blue??

The satin is SO SOFT, the skirt is so full! I truly feel like a princess in this dress, and I wish that I had someplace to go ballroom dancing in it. It's flattering, comfortable, and elegant! I hope it comes out in some nice, vibrant jeweltones. A red, or a deep purple or something!

The dress is a bit snug in the solid sizes so if you’re looking for room maybe you want to size up but I got a size 24 I’m an apple shape girl. The dress looks so nice it’s very flattering. I enjoy the poof it’s the shortness I want it. I’m so excited to wait for my cruise.

Soft pretty flattering
Really pretty dress. Flattering and soft with tulle layer underneath to keep the shape. Definitely take a moment to flatten and un-wrinkle it so the tulle isn’t bunchy. I am a 14/16 and usually buy a size 1. I got the 16 because I’m busty and don’t have a small waist. I’m glad I did. If you’re a size 1 - 14/16 but pear shaped you could probably do the 14.

Great, classic, well-fitting little (black) dress. I wish I would have been able to snatch up the hot pink while it was available. But the black is super versatile. The fabric appears (so far) to be a high quality stretch satin. My only caveat with the dress is the crinoline -- why does Torrid insist on constructing so many of their semi-formal/cocktail dresses with crinoline? We're adults, not children or Lindy/line dancers (well, maybe some of us are ;) ). If I need or want crinoline, then I'll add a simple crinoline skirt; so I've taken a seam ripper to remove it and now the dress lies much better. This is now the third dress from Torrid where I've had to remove the crinoline. They also (usually) don't mention in the description whether it has crinoline which is kind of annoying. I mean, I probably would have still purchased it, but I'd like to know that I'll need to make some alterations. I'm already big, I don't need the crinoline adding more volume to my chonky bod. I wish I would have been more prepared with my review as I would have posted a photo. It does look great with a simple stiletto heel. Oh!! And it has pockets (always a plus) and adjustable straps. For reference I'm 5'3", 38-40DD bust and I purchased a size 12 and it fits perfectly with just a tad bit of room to spare in the bust, enough to wear a strapless bra if needed. The length is perfect for me, as it sits right below my knees. I'm with other buyers -- I would love to have the option to purchase this in other colors, like red! It's a perfect little dress, suitable for so many occasions and such a classic piece.
I normally wear a 12-14 or 0 or 1 in Torrid dresses; 0 in Torrid scuba skirts (for example); and shirts 0 or 1 -- very much between sizes.

Gorgeous! This dress surprised me. I wasn’t expecting it to fit so good. Oh my is it Flattering! I love this dress so much I also bought it in pink. It does run big in the bust. I’m now a size 2 so 18 fit great.
