It was a no for me
Let me start by saying that I ordered this in a size 4, I am usually a 3 because I saw how this clung to the models tummy. I also bought a shaper undergarment that went from a couple inches under my bust to about 3or 4 inches above my knee. I put the dress on without the shaper and absolutely loved the way the top half looked. My bottom half, not so much. So I put the shaper on, and while it helped, I still would not feel comfortable wearing it in public with my B belly outlined like that. Also, the side of the dress is ruched and I had to pull the skirt part down a coue times to cover the shaper. It's gorgeous tho. Fully recommend if you are comfortable with an outline of your shape showing. I'm not there yet. Will be returning. In the meantime, I would LOVE a top with that cut to pair with jeans or other skirts.

I usually size up at torrid because I don’t like clothes being fitted. Although I bought a size 4 when I usually wear a size 3, I find this dress smaller than expected. It was extremely fitted and tight. Also tired of ordering a bunch of items at once (as there’s a $20 shipping flat rate for Canada) and then having more than half my order not show up cause they’re out of stock - still having to pay the full shipping rate.

The color is really nice and perfect for an event I need to wear burgundy too but the fit is so weird. I've never looked pregnant before. I should have sized up 2 sizes and just got the top altered to fit right. Definitely not worth the money, even on sale
