I will say it is a bit heavier feeling for a summer time dress, so I wouldn't choose it to wear to a mid-day wedding that's outside, but you can definitely dress it up or down!

It is soft, flowy and so feminine. It minimizes my large stomach area-yes! I did have to size up because my usual sz 2 was too tight in the chest (40 D). I am 5"10" and the dress fits like it does on the model. I love it.

I literally came to the site again today to see if torrid carries it in any other colors (I just found it in blue too!) I will buy it in every color. It is so flattering, I get compliments from strangers every time I wear, it, and it makes me feel incredible. What could be better? Oh, I forgot to say it's really comfortable with a pair of Snag Tight shorts! (Ignore the fact that I am trying it on over jeans in the photo )

The front cross over panel is a nice feature and adds some style! Did need to iron it but that is not a big deal for me.

I am wearing it next week to a graduation ceremony for my special education students. I will feel confident when standing at the podium to deliver my speeches for all my amazing grads. Speeches always make me nervous but at least I can feel confident in my appearance. Thanks Torrid for another great look.
