Comfortable and sexy
I was very skeptical at first due to the reviews,but these boots are super cute and comfortable. Wore them to an event and had no issues walking in them. The only con is I probably should have ordered the regular calf size instead of ex wide.I was strutting my stuff!

These boots give me major bratz vibes. I am in love! I was afraid they would fit around my ankles because they’re pretty wide but they fit so perfectly. I’m amazed at the magic that is torrid shoes :,) I love these so much!!!!

Exactly the right look!
Not sure what popping sound the other reviews are hearing? I don’t at all! These are exactly the trend boot I need in my life and my calves are too big to fit in any other brands. I don’t have very wide feet, so the shoe part runs big, I usually wear 8.5/9 in most shoes and usually buy 8 in Torrid shoes. I bought the 8.5 & 9 because they’re boots and honestly, I should have gotten the 8. I kept the 8.5, 9 was way too big. The calves are even large with plenty of extra room and I have a 20” calf.

Cute boot but..
The shoe looks good but I wish torrid would either bring back the elastic band or add just a regular calf to the calf size selections. Not all plus size women have big calfs. And I am one of those women, so the top of the shoe is looser than I would like it to be.

They were a little snug when I first tried them on, they heel also made a clicking noise every time I walked. (I read previous reviews about them doing this/ being loud when they walked.) Honestly, after about an hour of walking, the feet area stretched out to fit my feet more comfortably, and the noise they made stopped. These are super sexy, and love the platform heel. Would recommend.

These boots are LITERALLY everything I could’ve ever dreamed of. The first pair I got came damaged so I had to return them and got a new pair but the second pair are perfect and so comfy and SO cute. They fit perfectly and are super comfortable. My only complaint is the random popping noise that comes from the bottom part of the heal when walking on carpet. Most of my home is tile so I didn’t notice at first but when walking on carpet it goes *click click click* it’s kind of annoying but not enough to make me not want to keep these. I was worried they would be too loose on my calves but they only have a little space sat the top!! I LOVE them.

I love how they look, and we’re perfect for my sexy school girl outfit. But the reviews were right, they make a weird noise when walking on carpet. Luckily no carpet any where where I was going just heard the noise when I was walking around my carpeted room with them. Overall happy with my purchase and would buy again.

What I was looking for!
These boots are just a tad large in the calf area, but should be less noticeable with pants on. Only WW was offered on these boots, otherwise I would have chosen a different width. The material is also a bit thinner than I imagined- I almost feel like it could snag and tear on a rough corner or surface. The shoes are tall, but still walkable (I’m 6’2) because of the platform. I’m excited to wear them with black dresses this fall.

so I got these boots on a steal but I hear what everyone was talking about with the clicking sound. the sound comes from a gap in the heel and the glue inside it's a easy fix.

Sexy sexy seeexy. I soooo love the look and am happy they are not sold out in my size. Heel is comfy and they don't make weird noise for me, though I don't have carpet.
Here's the bad. They are tight in the foot, especially left foot. I have a hard time getting the zipper past my foot without a gaping hole in zipper with nylon socks on!! Honestly I am so totally annoyed! Isn't this supposed to be ww fit? Sigh
I ordered a 6, my usual torrid size, in (not my normal) extra wide calf because that is all that was available. I am usually a standard wide not the extra wide with torrid. The extra wide actually fits me very well in a 6 in this style which tells me these boots run small.
I ordered a 6.5 extra wide because of the width issue in foot area and the 6.5 is still tight around my foot! Thought less tight than the 6, but too much toe area space. The worst part though is the big difference of width around calf. Check out pics, on one leg I have the 6 and on the other the 6.5. Check out the top of my calf and what's going on with both legs. These are only half a size apart and both are extra wide width. I would expect this kind of difference of width in the same size but one in wide and another in extra wide calf or same width calf but several shoe sizes apart, but not in half a size difference of same width calf. Worst part I had to pay for shipping both times. I'm getting so sick of this sizing inconsistency here and shipping fees.
Final verdict. These do not at all fit true to size. Also there's a minimal difference of shoe width between half sizes and very large difference in calf width given there's only half a size difference in shoe size. The 6 fits like wide around the calf and the 6.5 like extra wide around the calf. Both sizes fit like less than a D width foot.
The fit is terrible and questionable the esthetics are the saving grace here.
I am a 6.5 D measured with shoe measuring device. Torrid I am mainly a 6 wide width unless there's sizing inconsistency in which case it's any body's guess.
If you like these buy them, but be prepared for weird sizing. If you're paying for shipping I would suggest ordering 2 or 3 pairs at the same time. One in your normal size and then half and one size up or something like that, return what doesn't fit. That's my best advise.
Torrid, please do better next time.

Cool Looking Odd Sounding
These ran true to size for me and are very cool looking with the platform sole and big heel. They are a bit thin and wrinkly on the leg part, and they gap out a bit for me at top of calf. I also hear the strange "pop" or "click" when I walk (in both feet). For my purposes (to wear on stage while singing), I can ignore the pop, but for everyday types of situations, it might drive you crazy. Other than those points, I love tee way the feel, fit, and how sturdy I feel when walking in them. Will try to make them work.

Poorly sized
To start I bought the extra wide pair since it said the boot shaft would be 17inches, WRONG. I got them in the mail and the boot shaft is at least 19inches when I measured. Also they come up all the way to my knee cap and I'm 5'6. Just a poorly sized shoe in my opinion

POP Goes The Boot
Everyone that said there is a “pop” sound when they walk on softer surfaces like a carpeted area is not just hearing things. These shoes DO make an annoying pop sound when walking on carpet. Never had a pair of shoes do that before. The construction seems rather cheap, the price I paid was with torrid cash and a reward to discount the price. I’m keeping the boots because the look of them is what I’ve been waiting for, but if you are someone who gets annoyed by popping noises, don’t buy these boots. Also, I normally wear a size ten in EVERY OTHER shoe but torrid shoes, I had to size down a full size to a 9 to get a good fit. Buying a size 10, 9.5, and a 9 at the same time to try them on at home and then ended up returning the 10 and 9.5.

Wanted to love these
Bought a pair in my normal size and they were so tight i could barely get my foot in it. So I sized up. They are super loose in the calf area but still so tight across my feet that I can see it being painful with longer wear time. I love the Look, hight and the ease of walking in them, but id say they are definitely not wide width. Ive never had an issue with my torrid shoes/boots but these are just so snug even with my thinnest socks. Im hoping that maybe with some wear theyll stretch some because other than that i really love these. I recommend if you have narrow feet.
