This is an amazing outerwear piece. It's longer than it looks on the model and definitely has some weight to it. It's both beautiful and functional. I'm hoping it'll get cold enough this winter that I'll have more opportunity to wear it. I don't think this item is still available but if it happens to come back in stock, and you've been considering it, get it. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this in January because it was #1-the last one on the store, #2-it was one of a kind, and #3-it made me feel beautiful when I tried it on in store. I wanted the blouse that matched it, but it was sold out online, and I can see why! I purchased a red dress to go to a semi-formal event that a friend of mine had invited me to. It gave me the perfect opportunity to wear it. When I tell you I felt like royalty, I F LY LIKE ROYALTY!

Got this cape as a Christmas gift and I simply love it! It pairs beautifully with dress boots of any style. In my it looks best with a long sleeve sweater or blouse. Has a dressy feel when you want something to cover with, but not heavy or bulky. Seem to run small glad I got a size 3.

I bought this on a whim and it's incredibly elegant to wear. The neck is a little snug if you button it all the way up, but it's perfect to wear out to dinner. The lining is beautiful. Be prepared for the fit. When buttoned up, it is roomy and flowy so don't expect it to contour the body.

I cannot say how much I adore this cape. Nice fabric, great fit, practical and posh. I feel classy, cute and professional in this. The lining is gorgeous. It’s not heavyweight for really cold weather but it can get lots of wear in spring, fall or mild winter weather or if I won’t be In elements for extended periods.

I bought this to complement my Victorian costume to the Dickens Fair in SF. It went worked seamlessly with my satin red outfit. It is so very flattering and the lining is divine. It is thin and not very warm but I was not freezing in it. I tend to run hot even when it’s raining out lol. This is honestly one of my top 5 fave purchases from Torrid. I got a size 1 and I am 200 pounds 5’3”. It fit perfectly.

This cape is just stunning. Truly beautiful. The lining is visible and gorgeous. It fits well and is flattering. My husband, who hates it when I buy new clothes, told me I look amazing in it and urged me to keep it even though I have nowhere fancy to go in the near future. He ordered it for me along with two other coats. I was supposed to pick one. I picked all three!
This is the kind of item I’m always waiting for — that special garment that the skinny girls can so easily grab, but is so rarely made for the chubettes. Also, I like to wear it, flap the sides, and make bat sounds before biting my husband’s neck.

Now THIS is a cape!
I absolutely LOVE this cape! It differs from previous Torrid capes as the arm holes are at the top, and the back of the cape swoops around your arms. It's great for the fall/early winter, especially if you wear a sweater for your sleeves. So cute, definitely retro, could wear this any day!

I am absolutely in love with this cape. It's warmer than I anticipated and the feel of it is impressive. It feels like it's going to last - definitely feels like quality fabrics were used. I thought it was a little pricy, but now I see why. It's subtly glamorous and the pop of red when the cape opens is something I just adore. I did order a size up in the cape (as I usually do with coats or jackets and I'm sometimes between a 3 or 4 in Torrid's sizes) but I think I probably could've stuck to the 3. Even so, it isn't overly huge so I kept the size 4 because I couldn't wait to wear it. I can't wait to see more from this retro collection!

I am 48-40-48 in measurements, US bra size 36H. I bought a size 2, my usual size. Because I am busty, I wonder if I should had gotten a 3. A little too late since I can’t get it on sale like before. It snaps yet pulls a little in the bust area. The cape itself makes me feel a bit Cheryl Blossom but also a bit Peter Murphy. Try not doing your best Dracula pose
