I've been eyeing this style from Torrid for awhile. I originally liked the Aristocats print but waited too long. I think this print suits me better and is a wonderful mixture of sassy, retro and rock-a-billy chic. I love the 40s feel!
The cut is very flattering for my shape (long torso and long legs, mostly hourglass shape with a belly). The included belt really helps cinch in your waist but it was almost too big for me. I needed to use the last belt hole and I had to use a hair band to secure the excess tail. The length is perfect; my arms and shoulders were perfectly free and comfortable.
For reference, I'm 5'8" and about 185lbs with a long torso and long legs. 34G bust; general hourglass shape with all my weight in my stomach. I usually wear a 12 in bottoms and 00 for tops and dresses.
I received a lot of compliments too. Someone asked me if people regularly told me I looked like a particular actress!
I was a little concerned about the fabric as I hadn't seen or felt it IRL. It's a pretty basic cotton print, breathable and not really rough. It's softened a bit since washing.
My fiance said this is his new favorite dress of mine!

This dress is beautiful and flattering. It's a beautiful shade of red and fits perfectly. I wear size 1 in tops and 14 or 16 in jeans and I bought the size 16. It fits comfortably

Adorable dress!
Super cute dress with great retro vibe! Fit is true to size - I purchased a 10. Looks very flattering on which is what I keep coming back for and love that it comes with a belt. Would be super cute with peep toe shoes or a wedge sandal

Great but not perfect
Very cute retro dress with flattering shape. Material is thin so it will likely need a slip under it. Sleeve and dress length are both perfect. Fits as expected.
