They are definitely knee-high as the name says, even if the picture seems to suggest they may go a bit higher. These make great boot socks if you like to push them down for a slouchy look over leggings. The band at the knee is not restrictive and doesn't give me the muffin look - and I have very chubby legs. I don't think they'd stay up for a full day, but thats the price you pay for something that doesn't squeeze painfully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes! My favorite thing is that these are a little snug at the very top. It's like the thread has no stretch, so they STAY UP! They're amazing. They cover my knee, but I don't wear them that way. I like them scrunched or folded below my knee. They fit over jeans, they stay up without any help, they FIT over my calves, they're thin but still warm. I was desperate for new black knee-high socks and these are awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally!! I bought these about a week ago because I wanted some knee high socks I could wear that wouldn't dig into my thighs and give me that ugly leg bulge from the indent. These are so soft, they hit me where I want them to (about mid thigh), and they stay up without digging into my leg and overall have a very nice, sleek look on the legs. I know they're just socks, but if you have thicker thighs (I'd say from a size 10 and beyond) and want some longer socks that fit nicely and aren't $25 a pair, pull the trigger on these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FINALLY Knee-Highs That Fit! I have such big calves/thighs (21" top of knee, 18" calf) and these fit really nicely. They're snug at the top so they don't roll down. They have a little wiggle room in them for a slouchy look if I want. If I want a tighter look, I'll pull the access material in near my ankle. My only "con" is that I thought the 2 pack was 2 BLACK pair...I would never wear white knee-highs LOL so I guess I'll donate those.

I had been wanting some over the knee socks to go with short skirts etc. and had purchased a pair elsewhere only to be disappointed when they barely fit over my calves. I was afraid my legs would be too big for these too. But THEY FIT PERFECTLY!!! And they are SOOOO soft. I anticipate buying MORE in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy fit I have very large calves... 21 inch around. These socks stretch comfortably, still go up past my knee and stay there. Not too tight. The only thing that I can say is that actual sole of the sock is larger than my foot so the heel comes up past my ankle ( I have a size 5 women's) foot, other than that, great sock!
