High waisted and stretchy
I was looking for trouser shorts and this was the closest I found. They do have an eye hook and zipper on the side but they're very easy to just slip on. I got a size 18 and they fit comfortably. My thighs are not big but these shorts still feel snug around them...not in a bad way. And I like short shorts so I liked the length. Since they're black, they look very slimming. Wore them 2x's and they washed well, no problems.

Perfect!
I wear shorts year round and when I saw these I was super excited. They fit true to size and come down just far enough on the leg to not be too revealing but short enough to still be sexy. Will be super cute in the winter with tights or fishnets and booties! I loved them so much I bought a second pair as a back up!

I’ve worn these shorts twice now. Super comfortable & cute! Easy to dress up or down. I could’ve ordered a size down. I can slide these off & on but they are comfy. Looked to buy same style different color which wasn’t offered.

I came out of my room with these on and my boyfriend immediately started gushing about how they made my ass look great and I looked cute ad hell. They fit me perfectly. High waisted on me and the perfect length. Seriously you should get these shorts

Love these!
Ok, so my husband joked that I look like I’m about to star in an 80s workout video with my “bike shorts”. But I love them. They fit so well and while the zipper in the back can be annoying on my skin at times, I’d still buy these again.
I bought a size 10 and found that it fit true to size. I’m 5’9”, 165 lbs, 39x33x39

I love the material and style of these shorts. They fit my apple shaped body but I do wish they fit a little better. They’re a little baggy in the crotch/ leg area since I have to size up because my tummy is bigger. Even though they fit a little different than on the model, they still look cute and are comfortable. They’re not as short as they look in the picture. I’m 5’7 and wear size 5.

These shorts are super short. I bought a couple of weeks ago and tried on; they fit great at my regular size in microtwill (12) and didn’t seem to ride up. I washed in hand wash,cold water and hung to dry. They came out super wrinkled; o thought they looked smaller but thought just an illusion. I steamed when dry, and went to wear the following weekend...so disappointed...felt super tight and even shorter...the band even began to fold over.
Wore for 10 minutes around the house to see if they would get better...they were so uncomfortable with major riding up....I’d say to size up if curvy. Untimely, I wish that TODTID would make their popular dressy shorts in 4 inch, 5 inch and 6...as different kinds of curvy exist it would make a lot of ppl happy...I find it frustrating that most of TORRID shorts are so short or way long...where’s the between lengths!

Amazing shorts
I love these super stretchy shorts! So very comfortable and very high rise. Like above my belly button high rise and I’m long torso’ed. Stretches perfectly around my Pooh belly and looks great against my more shapelier legs. I definitely could have sized down. But, I didn’t want to exchange or return during the rona.

I read the review and someone said runs small end had to get a size down. Ended up being very small and too short. The cut is odd as well because if I went up they would have been loose and baggy in me and with that material is unflattering. Ended up returning them. And don’t recommend if you have a tummy.
