Love the fit!
Love love love the way these shorts fit! I have been searching for the perfect black shorts and these ones fit the bill! I don’t even mind the unfinished hem, as long as it doesn’t get super stringy. I’m 5’11 and wear between a 4 and a 5, depending on fabric, etc. I ordered these in a 26 because the sky highs tend to fit on the smaller side. The fit is great, the length of the leg is perfect, hits me a few inches above the knee. The fabric isn’t too stiff and has just the right amount of stretch. Can’t wait to wear these all summer long.

I'm in love!!!
I was THRILLED to see the sky high skinny shorts back and these were 1000% better than previous versions. I love the raw hem, the stretch is perfect and Torrid please please please have these in other colors (I need white!)

Small fit
I bought this item 2 weeks ago online for a trip I’m taking. My normal torrid size is a 20, which is what I purchased. Unfortunately, they did not fit. Has torrid sizes changed? My whole order was small. I compared my usual size 20 torrid pants to these shorts and their is a definite size difference? The length was great though.

Nice shorts
Shorts are nice. They have a nice stretch to them. I wish the waist was smaller cuz its baggy some but it fits my booty n thighs well.

Wide legs
Material is amazing, light and stretchy but definitely not for people who are bigger around the tum and skinner legs, the legs are so wide they wont hug your legs like the picture shown. 5’5 also and they were hitting right below my knees.

The black dye stinks like rotten eggs been trying to wash it a lot to get rid of it but no luck also the hem is not finished it is basically a cut off and stringy end. Not happy. Usually Torrid is my favorite but not these shorts!

Run a little smaller
I have bought clothes from Torrid in the same size I got these shorts. The length is okay but they seem smaller around the waist then the other clothes I have purchased. I should have sized up.

I don't know how these shorts are dyed. But, I have washed them 5 times and they still stink! I would recommend them for fit/ look. But, get ready for the smell.

Not sky high at all and didn't care for the fit. Lose around thigh area at the bottom. I love bermuda shorts but these did not work out for me

Cute fit, but big problem
These fit super cute, however I would caution purchasing these. After one wash, hadn’t even been worn yet, the bottom frayed so bad, they look terrible and are essentially falling apart. Unless you plan on never washing, these are kind of a fail.

so confused by the fit
One thing I really wish Torrid would do is start listing the rise measurement on its bottoms. These shorts say they're a sky-high fit, but they are not on me. I have a very high waist, so these end up hitting just under my bellybutton, which is several inches below my natural waist. As a result, the waistband digs in and pinches regardless of whether I tried to shimmy it up or down. I would have loved to have known before I bought these that there was no way they were gonna fit on me.
In addition to the weirdness of the rise/waistband, I found that the legs stretched out almost immediately upon trying them on. Far from the fitted, sexy look on the model, they ended up looking more like camp counsellor shorts. Not the thing I was hoping for at all.

Unfinished edge
I didn't notice the hem was unfinished in the picture. It has no hem whatsoever so i'm not sure how it will fray in a way that doesn't just look tore up. Thought about adding a hem myself but just wasn't worth it.
