I wish I wasn't so short!
I love the dress! I'm 5'1" and 225lbs. It's beautiful, but as you can see it's a bit long. I ordered size 1 first because it was available for only a moment. I'm glad I also ordered the size 2 though, because the top is a little closer to the picture. Unfortunately, they will both need to be returned, but only because I'm just too short. Lesson learned: Don't order maxi dresses for myself, so the size rating of Too Long is only for MYSELF.

Great Quality
I bought this item not knowing much about Torrid and their quality. Boy was I surprised! I've bought plus size dresses at comparable prices only to get thin and weak material. They looked great online not so much in person! I love this dress! The fabric is soft and flowing!

Amazing dress!!
So flattering. Very comfortable and fit just like I wanted. I usually wear a 2 and that’s what I ordered. Fit like a glove the picture doesn’t do it justice because I had some champagne and it’s a little crooked lol

nice dress
I bought this dress a few weeks ago and wore it to church recently. The top of the dress didn't fit so well so I threw a duster over it. I think someone who is bustier than I am would find it fits very well. The waist is forgiving and the color is lovely.

Odd fit
I had to pin the back because it was gapping. It was snug on my bust area but way too loose in the back. A smaller size wouldn’t have fit my bust. I wear 38D.

Soft, accentuates waist
Dress is nice and long. Love the slit. It fit well, except in the chest area. My boobs are smaller, 40C and it seemed a little loose there. But if I don’t slouch, it’s totally fine.
Otherwise, the dress looked great, I got lots of compliments. Great, breathable fabric. I can dress this up for work or for a casual dinner. No regerts buying this one and would probably grab in another color too.

Expect lots of Compliment
Bought this dress on a whim and I really like it. The material is soft, the buttons are faux so us "blessed" ladies don't have to worry about gaping on the top. Slits in the front are perfectly situated. I got quite a few compliments the first time I wore it!

Lovely but not on me
I actually think this dress is lovely but I don’t love it on me. The material is lightweight which is great for warmer days but I agree with another reviewer that the material shows when you sweat; it’s a rather unforgiving material that wrinkles and I really really don’t like ironing. There’s no pockets which I assume they chose not to add so there wasn’t added bulkiness to the dress. I like that the smocking hits above my waist so it gives the illusion of a smaller waistline, I added a belt and I loved the look but the problem for me was the fact that I needed to wear an entire bodysuit of spanx in order for the material to not emphasize all the blipblopbloops of body fat even though the material didn’t cling to my body. I do recommend trying the dress because it is really pretty, it runs true to size, and it’s easy to hem for those that need it shorter, I’m 5’8” and it hit just above my ankles.

I love this dress! The fabric is really light so it’s perfect for summer. And I love a dress with sleeves. The two slits in front are a nice addition as well. It is a little plain so I added a belt to it. Other than that it’s a nice comfortable dress. I ordered in my regular size and it fits well.

Wrinkles galore
This stress wrinkles very easily while wearing. Also, wish the sleeves were slightly longer, they fit more like cap sleeves on me.

Unfortunately when I received the dress, it was super wrinkled! The reviews were right. This has never happened with any Torrid dress that I had bought before so I had to return it. I gave it 3 stars because it fit really well and was really cute.

I bought this dress because I loved the color. Unfortunately, I returned it because the top part was just too tight on me, even though it was the same size I always get. I contemplated keeping it, but then I read other reviews that said it wrinkled easily and I just didn't want to deal with that.

The bodice is cut too short for me, the gathering/elastic hits my rib cage just under the band for my bra and the fabric wrinkles very badly. The color is very pretty and the fabric is soft but it is not flattering on long torsos so I will be returning it.

But it wrinkled too much and tore so easily. It seemed to rip and have weakened spots already within the first bit of wearing it. i regret this purchase snd losing the tags to the dress.
